This is exactly why it’s hard to get excited about giving McD weapons. The constant issue with KC beating us hasn’t been a lack of talent on the defensive side, it’s been piss poor coaching. So I understand the idea of dedicating assets to the weaker side of the ball, but we’re hoping for two things here that realistically won’t happen: that Beane can finally hit on D Line picks, and that McD won’t get out coached. In the latest playoff loss, we had a chance to win the game but our QB has zero weapons outside of a good line, and we came up just short. I’d rather just accept that KC is going to move the ball at will and give Allen weapons to try and outscore KC. At least Allen is capable of using the weapons he’s given…McD, not so much.

What we saw was a joke, and that’s an objective view.
