I think that Josh made him look MUCH better than he was.  More than several plays where he got wrecked off the snap in which Josh should’ve gotten sacked/fumbled…..but no one remembers anything other than Josh making a spectacular play to avoid the sack.

If you’d like to see them….watch the games in which he played.  Why should I waste my precious time on this earth in order to show you something that you missed?

Ill believe it when I see it. Which I haven’t and assuming you didn’t either other than that 1 play you saw on twitter.

I showed one play becssue I don’t have the technology or the time to show all of the mistakes….he’s made PLENTY

I'm sure he did, it was his first season in the NFL. I'm not arguing that we need better play there, I hope Kromer will get the very best out of him but for the most part I thought he did a really good job all considering.

The entire play was all Josh Allen. Browns and Williams get annihilated…. That being said I don’t expect Ford to be on the roster next season…. If Ford is any sort of depth player I’ll be scratching my head wondering why they didn’t do more yet again…

There’s numerous examples of Brown getting abused in pass protection…. They don’t need all pros, they just need solid linemen. They’ve had a mediocre to bad line the last two seasons.

You state there are numerous examples.... I'd like to see these.

Going overboard?  Right now we have Ford and Brown on the right side.

You don’t see Brown as a weakness….but he’s not a good RT yet.  He’s not even average.  We’re banking on him improving but as of now….he should be worried about.      I wasn’t worried about Cody ford going into year 2.  I knew could improve.  But then he didn’t. We were using Knox to chip on Browns side because they didn’t trust him fully.  And as of now he’ll be lined up next to who? Yeah.  Ford.

nice block with the season on the line

we have a $250M qb and one of the worst right sides in the league.

I mean you show 1 play where our rookie RT is going up against one of the premiere pass rushers in the NFL Melvin Ingram, even the best get beat some times. I thought Spencer Brown held his own for a rookie coming off the bench. We aren't going to have all pros all along the OL, it's just not going to happen and Josh Allen will have to improvise while some of these guys mature.

  4. I think some similar type of 3rd down backs to J.D. McKissic are Giovanni Bernard, Duke Johnson and Jerrick McKinnon, all of which will most likely cost the same cap wise. I don't want to say there is 0 chance we take a RB with our 1st 3 picks but I'd say there is a .0001 % chance of it imo. I'm pretty sure Beane and co. view motor as the lead back and rightfully so, they have a nice power back in Zack Moss who should be healed up and a 3rd down back like 1 of these 3 will be a pretty solid group, add in a late round RB into the mix perhaps with speed and the ability to catch.

  5. I heard this all before with the Browns.... They just signed OBJ, SB..... They just signed Deshaun Watson...SB.  Not only does Watson have the heat of all the fans revolting on him, now he has to make playoffs at the very least to even justify that contract and will have to fix the roster without a 1st round draft pick 3 years in a row or at least 2 years in a row (I believe they'll recoup a 1st for Mayfield), oh and he'll be hearing sexual assault for a very long time from every rival team, that is a huge weight on his shoulders and he hasn't played in 2 years and could be suspended by the NFL, I'll believe it when I see it!

I agree with the TE and Hall. However, I’m not sure we go DE in any way shape or form after the Miller signing. Not early on anyways.

Which is exactly why I say it won’t be corner. There may already be 4 or 5 off the board before we pick. Beane isn’t taking a corner because of need. Not all players are created the same just because they play the same position. It has the be a good fit.

I'll use an example... We just went out and loaded up at DT getting Settle, Philips and Jones. If Jordan Davis fell to #25 (He will be long gone imo) I think Buffalo would 100% take him over say a CB or WR again just in my opinion.

What about when you don’t have enough cap space to address all holes in F/A?  You still want to draft BPA, instead of filling holes?

There is not 1 team in the NFL that doesn't have holes. You should always take the very best players on your board. Need is in FA and talent through the draft imo.

He is 39, almost 40.  Coming off a major Hip injury.  after making 82M in his career.  So the longer he sits the closer to that vet min you get.

Yes CB is the easiest position to fill on this defense with two premier safeties,  It is a very CB friendly defense.  Any Zone corner will give you what Levi did.

I still disagree, he was 38 going on 39 last season and he got 10M, if he's ready to play they'll be no argument.

You also saw what happened to those corners against a real QB, which we'll be facing again. I'm not saying we can't get away with playing Dane Jackson or a rookie as our CB2 or 1 depending on Tre I'm just saying we shouldn't.

  9. 1 minute ago, NewEra said:

Wow.  Could push him down….but how long is he out.  Could we afford to draft him if he were to miss most of the season while likely going to miss Tre for part of it?  He’d be a no brainer pick @ 25 if he were healthy.

It's normally anywhere from 3-12 weeks or longer but depending onb the individual it can really sap the speed, OBJ had it, Clowney, Allen lazard and Ed Oliver.

  10. I agree with most of your assessment although QB Fitzpatrick made like 10M last year, there is absolutely no chance that he's going on any team for league minimum the way teams put a premium on the position even at backup, I'm guessing 8-10M once again.

Many posters seem to think we can just fill the CB position with anyone and it will work out, that's a scary way of looking at it in a SB window. I'm not saying we need another Tre White but a solid veteran playing with him to teach Dane Jackson and the rookie/rookies that we draft would be the smartest route, Peterson or Haden would be a fantastic addition imo.

OG imo is going to be drafted, I'm really surprised it's taking this long to find a RG. It just shows what a huge disappointment Cody Ford has been.

  11. I was not a fan of the Philips and Lawson signings at first, they may not even make the team with this deep group but it says something that these guys have all stayed close and don't mind coming here for less money to give it another go and both probably never wanted to leave in the first place. People say culture doesn't matter and I say to hell with that, dudes have been coming in here with their kids talking about raising families and being a tight knit group, this team has come a hell of a long way!
