Appreciate your opinion, but I see no leadership in him and limited ability. No team would do this to a valued player/leader. " Something is afoot here Watson"!
Thanks! Now are teams doing it because they don't believe Mayfield is a starting QB or because they know the Browns will cut him? I personally don't think Mayfield is a backup, he's shown he's good enough and accurate enough to get his team to the playoffs at least.
I guess we'll find out the answer to this if nobody picks him up but I doubt that happens.

Greg Rousseau 100%, if he breaks out like I feel he's going to then watch Jordan Poyer, Micah Hyde, Tre White and Elam feast off of those guys. A serious pass rush does wonders, just look at the 49ers.

Buffalo Bills: Running Back
One would think drafting Georgia’s James Cook in the second round would take Buffalo out of the market for a running back. But after GM Brandon Beane referred to Cook as a “sub back” in a post-draft presser and compared him to NFL journeyman J.D. McKissic, I’m not sure that’s the case.
Cook is a skinnier guy who didn’t fill the every-down archetype at Georgia, so there still appears to be a vacancy at the top of the depth chart. And while the Bills will be just fine if they don’t add another running back—which isn’t a valuable position—it’s a testament to the roster that this is its biggest hole.
Solution: Trade for Saquon Barkley
The Bills would have to move some money around to fit Barkley’s $7.2 million salary under the cap, perhaps by restructuring Tre White’s deal. But why shouldn’t they? Barkley has been disappointing the last couple seasons, but he has yet to play in a good offense. Putting him in the same backfield as Josh Allen could unlock all that ability we saw at Penn State—ability that has been suppressed by the Giants’ general shittiness.
Didn't you hear undrafted rookie Raheem Blacksheer's comments? He said he's the next Deebo Samuel, we're good at RB now.

Even if he's cut 18.8M is 23rd in the league as far as QB salaries in 2022. I can understand if teams don't want to give draft picks but he might actually get more in the open market if he's released. I'd have to think that both Seattle and Carolina would have interest, maybe even Atlanta.

I got the impression this was staged so I give that list zero credibility.
I 100% believe this is Jerry Jones believing he's smarter than everyone and that is his exact list.

This is more media bs imo. Roethlisberger said the same about Mason Rudolph, Favre to Rodgers, Rodgers to Love and I'm sure many before that.

I get he is a late rounder, but the negatives on him are overwhelming! Hope they can coach him up a little.
Who am I?
-Poor build
--Skinny
--Lacks great physical stature and strength
--Lacks mobility and ability to avoid the rush
--Lacks a really strong arm
--Can’t drive the ball downfield
--Does not throw a really tight spiral
--System-type player who can get exposed if forced to ad lib
--Gets knocked down easilyTom Brady's draft profile.

We should offer Zach Moss or Isaiah Hodgins to NYG for their remaining 5th
I understand people are down on Moss but he had an injury riddled season. I think he'll come back and make a bigger impact this year than he has, he's my under dog to break out for us.

Another really good sleeper pick, I never thought we'd be interested since I don't see anywhere that we worked him out or had an interview with him.

Would have ended up on the PS
I think he would have beaten out the last WR for that spot on our roster, there is no telling that for sure, just my opinion.

Just a comment here, but why not move up for Austin?
Clearly he was best WR on board and
no way these 6th round picks are gonna make the team.
I'm going to guess and say the Bills think Stevenson can be that type of guy and already has a year in the system. I wanted Austin also though, from the get go but that's just my guess.

Yeah, would have been nice to draft him in rd 3.
now we have a 51 year old point guard playing LB us
He's still on the board as far as I can see.

Need a burner WR. Trade up for Calvin Austin today?
I'd be all for this, I think he'd give us that extra gear in our offense. I won't compare him to Hill but he does have that similar 2nd gear that we're looking for to take the tops off defenses.

Not many on this board like the pick so he's sure to be a home run fan favorite.

Solid runner, a speed back like his brother, great bloodlines, we need a guy to catch out of the backfield. I'm excited to see what he brings to the group.
-
I count at least 15 of these guys haven't came in for a visit, nor can I find that we visited them at all in any capacity so that would make it down to 15 imo. Also like 4 of the 15 i mentioned are cornerbacks, I wouldn't be opposed at all tyo another Cb as I feel you can never have enough in this day and age but might be unlikely.

Did the Chiefs just poach our pick and we had our front office get desperate?
Here is the press conference from Beane on why he traded up to get Elam, he was the last player on the Bills board that had a first round grade.
What i loved hearing, towards the end ... At the end of the meeting between bills brass and Elam, the Bills asked him if he had any questions for them and his reply was.... What makes CB tre White such a special player. He also asked what they liked about ZElams play and what he needed to improve on, pretty impressive questions imo.

The fact Lamar doesn’t have a new contract tells you everything you need to know about Baltimore’s opinion on Lamar.
Lamar Jackson's situation is unique, since he's his own agent so I can only imagine how awkward it is trying to get a discount on a player right to his face.
