Def hasn’t been true to the “got to get Josh the help he needs” comments though.😅

A trade up for a RB is almost as bad as picking a LB or safety for me.

Yeah extended Diggs, re-sign McKenzie, sign Jamison Crowder, sign G Rodger Saffold-, re-signed Bates., Tried to sign McKissic, we've totally neglected him this off-season.

  2. I feel like this could be an OG like Nicholas Petit-Frere, or if they want to replace Tremaine Edmunds, Christian Harris- ILB Alabama, they would most likely have to trade up for Hall but there is also RB James Cook, Isiah Spiller. I don't see us drafting a TE in round 2. I also don't see WR as Metchie and Charleston Rambo appear to be the only 2 that came in for a visit. Also S Nick Cross may be in play, could they double dip at CB and take McCreary if he's still there? That would be a hell of an upgrade in the secondary !

  3. Love that we upgraded the secondary,6’1” corner who ran 4.39, how can anyone hate that? They must have had first hand knowledge of some interest from other teams, giving up a 4th to get your guy is never a bad thing. If Tre isn’t able to go this guy is going to be a great insurance policy imo.

I swear we had this thread last year, to track all of the general rumors leading up to the draft.

Here's a few this week from Charlie Campbell who has been on point with the info he's put out before:

The note about Daxton Hill is the most intriguing to me. I thought he would be a strong candidate to be our pick at 25. But if he has concerns about his mental makeup he won't have a 1st round grade from Beane.

I can't believe people still believe Walter Football has any first hand knowledge of anything.

  5. I don't think there are too many scenarios I'd not be happy with.... If it's CB we fill a position of need imo if not just from a depth perspective. If we chose DT we upgraded the position but most of those guys are on 1 year deals, also there's no guarantee we re-sign Oliver although I think he'll be a priority. If it's a WR we add another playmaker to make Josh Allen even scarier (If that's even possible). If it's RB it will make Josh less willing to run hopefully and give the Bills another dimension to the offense that we haven't had in some time, I really like Singletary and still think Zach Moss will be a solid bruising/goaline back for us this season. I think if there's 1 position that would be a no go for me it's LB, I don't think Tremaine is the answer as of right now but I also don't think we need his replacement this season necessarily.

I have no idea what all that means.

    What is PSA/DNA certified?

Does it actually have a piece of a game worn jersey with his DNA on it or something?

PSA/DNA means that the autograph on that card is 100% authentic. The card graded a gem mint 10 is the highest grade that particular card can get by PSA and the Jersey is worn by Josh Allen, sometimes it’s game worn but most of the time it’s event worn, he walks around at event with it and the card company cuts it up and puts it into the card.

  7. I'm going against the grain and going with OL here. Games are won and lost in the trenches. We need and upgrade at either G spot, is Bates really that good or was our interior OL play really that bad? Is Spencer Brown the answer. The depth in this area is also concerning. Protecting Allen and giving him weapons should always be priority #1, after that DL and everything else fills in, imo.

  8. I think this benefits us tremendously imo, let's face it Tua is nowhere near the caliber of QB that Mahomes is, Hill makes them much better as does the OT Terron Armstead but it all comes down to QB and he has shown no signs that he is a legit threat to take over this division, also they just ate up a huge amount of cap for a 28 year old WR but I do think we will now not only pick up a veteran CB in FA but also add another 1 if not 2 more in the draft again imo. This also frees up 18M in cap space for KC so they will most definitely be signing a veteran and drafting a WR in round 1.

I’m not really sure what Saffold has to do with this discussion, but I do expect a lot more 12 personnel this season.

Beane specifically mentioned it (albeit as a hypothetical) when asked what wrinkles Dorsey might add to the offense. Then, choosing to spend a few million on OJ Howard (after also reportedly having interest in Gronk and Engram) in a generally cap-strapped year all but confirms it.

As for 22? Other than short yardage situations, I doubt we see that very often. Choosing to put Reggie Gilliam on the field instead of David or Diggs does not seem logical.

I don’t want to speak for the op but I’m guessing because he excelled in run blocking.

To me the Colts are a QB away from being a championship team. How in the world with all this QB carousel going on they just trade off their starting QB, sit back and watch any and all valid QBs get realigned with new teams and they just stand pat??!!! Especially that they have a lunatic owner and they do NOTHING??! It just doesn’t make sense. At one point I was wondering if they were going to blow off the dust and try and get Andrew Luck out of retirement but that just doesn’t sit right the more I think about it. The only thing that I could come up with that would make any kind of sense is that the Colts works something out for Matty Ice. The Falcons don’t have squat going on and looks to be a great candidate for a complete rebuild. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Colts cough up a 1st rd pick for Ryan. I’m not sure what they have for draft picks because of what they paid for Wentz but I’m pretty sure without looking that they still have their 2023 1st rd pick. If somebody could weigh in and suggest a better solution it would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately for the Colts, Watson was in their division but fortunate for us. I think they have a trade in place for Jimmy G is my guess, seems like a perfect fit imo. Ryan might be an option but is he even available? I haven’t heard anything about that.

You wanna be the Saints?  They are screwed for years.  They’ll be paying massive amounts of dead cap for years

Im not saying be the Saints I’m just saying the cap can and always is manipulated, this is what teams have to do unfortunately unless you have a rookie QB or no QB to pay. And I’ve been hearing for the past 5 years that New Orleans is screwed because of the cap and still waiting.
