  1. It'll be interesting to see if he's learned/benefited anything from his "time off". I can speak from experience (not football but other things) that when you take a step back and let things slow down, u can benefit and learn from it
  2. I wonder if they even let Barkley throw tomorrow
  3. I wouldnt be surprised if he is hurt by halftime and Peterman is in
  4. More like mcpicknumberoneoverall. Bean and McDermott can say all they want about not tanking, but cmon. They want a high draft pick
  5. Watch Barkley come out and throw 300 yards and 3tds lol
  6. Unless Barkley is worse, which would take an awful lot
  7. Up to #13 now. Currently crushing Louisville. Probably the most packed I've seen the dome for a Syracuse football game
  8. That particular o-line was much better at run blocking than our current one. The offensive scheme then was alot different. Allen can probably do more than Tyrod honestly, he just needs time. He's still young
  9. I could see him come back as a leader and depth guy. Phillips will probably take over his position next year, but I could see him still having some snaps every game, and I'd be all for it
  10. Problem was, Rex ruined the defense. Put our current defense with that offense and you might have a legit superbowl contender, even though Tyrod was still tyrod
  11. I'm at the point where I hope they let whoever is playing qb, just throw every single down. Do a heavy rotation of wide recievers and let's see what we got. Regardless of who starts at qb, it'd be good experience. Take shots down field, run every pass play you got. What is there to lose at this point
  12. What on earth have you seen from Anderson that makes you think they'll put up 24 points with him
  13. Jauron fired turk shonert weeks before the season started and promoted Alex van pelt to oc. Bad move. We had a ton of injuries that year also. I believe we had like 12 guys on ir. I remember fans were screaming for jauron to be fired. The team was so ultra conservative and awful. Everyone had enough of jauron by then. It's amazing he lasted 3 and a half seasons
  14. If I remember this game right, the jets got in fg range in ot, tried to kick the fg and botched it, tried to throw the ball in a panic if I remember right. I vaguely remember this game ending close to 5:30 at night
  15. McCown is pretty decent. I think this actually makes the jets better.
  16. I litterally can't tell the difference. The Ethiopian to me has always been kinda gross. Gotta load it up with sugar and cream to make it tolerable. It has a more bitter taste than the others.
  17. I might sound a little ignorant, but now that we've drafted our franchise qb(hopefully) I don't find as important to have a top 3 or 5 pick.
  18. I did say. It was Dittulio. And supposedly his source was in the bills organization, not a caller
  19. Like I said, it could be true or it could be complete non sense. Dittulio isn't a drama queen sports guy though. It's not like he's trying to get a job at ESPN. I believe that he probably did hear it from a reliable source, but still doesn't make it true necessarily
  20. Don't take it so personally. Just something I heard in the radio. Also, he is a pretty good sports guy. Not some Joe blow just looking to make waves. I could see 8t being true as much as I coukd see it not being true. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter, because Peterman isn't the future
  21. Off topic, but today I was listening to a local talk show in Rochester. One of the hosts, who's a well known sports guy in Rochester, was talking about how the Pegulas, or Terry, are the reason for the whole Peterman debacle. Said a source close to the team said Terry was in love with Peterman and is the reason he started against the Chargers last year and then again at the beggining of this season. Also the reason he's still on this team. He didn't say the source, but said if he could say the source, we'd all know it was 100% credible. Anyways, it was pretty interesting. Don't know if any other Rochester folk here heard it
  22. When McCarron was traded, I would've taken Ej back in a heartbeat as a failsafe for Peterman. If Peterman stunk it up, which he did, put him on the practice squad and let Ej be the backup. Imo Ej could probably teach Allen more than Anderson. Both were 1st round picks, and Ej is much younger and Allen could probably relate to him much more.
