Last night's game should be an indication that no 2 weeks are ever the same. Rams out up 44 points last week, and 12 last night. This lions game could go any which way
So we're playing probably the best team in the nfl Sunday, and the bills won't even get more than one full practice this week. Gonna be super interesting Sunday
I think McDermott wasn't ready for the rams offense. That was by far their best game all season. First time they scored over 30 points. Horrible on 3rd downs. I think there's a really good possibility they lose again this week, but Imo it's not a bad thing. It sucks in the moment, but it's good prep for the playoffs
The entire defense (minus maybe benford) was atrocious last night, but I don't think Hyde is gonna come in and make any kind of difference. At least not yet. Let him play the last 2 games maybe, but he hasent played a snap since last season.
Calling that time out at the end slightly reminded me of the Colts snow game back in 2017 when McDermott was litterally playing for a tie, when that would've litterally put us out of of the playoffs. Even after that game he mentioned how a tie was better than a loss, but still would've essentially made it impossible for the bills to get into the playoffs that year. He's gotta figure his end of game management out
As good as Detroit is, Dan Campbell does some really bone headed stuff. So I think this will be a close game, I don't think we'll get killed. However McDermott has 4 games to figure out how to handle end of game management, and also his defense
