They certainly won't be the laughingstock, at least not until Allen actually proves to be a bust. Pretty much everyone outside of PFF and fans like ourselves are very high on him.

...unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons.

    bit dramatic.

I would take any of the other 3 over Allen.

Allbright tweeted back in January that Denver likes Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen and Buffalo wants to trade up for Josh Allen. He thinks Denver will take Mayfield at 5.

So, over/under for how many more years McBeane have left if the draft Allen?

As high as I was about all the other moves, this report has taken that away...hope it’s not true, but if they go take Allen they will be the laughingstock of the NFL.

Let's not have panic attacks if it ends up being Allen.  life spans are already lower in WNY due to environment and weather. Has Similar tools and build to both Golf and Wentz  who both had questions as well. If it's their guy, it's their guy and we will have to live with it.

If it’s their guy then I will pray He is off the board when we pick.

  4. Only hope I’m clinging to is that yesterday there was a Cleveland radio host on WGR that said GMs are purposely pumping Allen up and that he has no idea what people see in him if you watch the tape.

Should have heard Donald Jones reaction yesterday when Murph said he would take Allen as his 2nd choice....Donald almost lost his lunch...priceless.

you know, that is concerning and did not know about the concussions. definitely should raise concern to whomever may of wanted to draft him?

    Mayfield?

I know...and the thing is, nobody is talking about it because everyone is distracted with talk about his personality...to me the injury history is a much bigger concern.

Love Mayfield...love his toughness...Rosen seems soft imo...but we will see

No issues.  There was a study done a few years back that brought to light that the average college athlete comes to the NFL with an average of two concussions (documented or not).  He’s shown no ill effects and has elite mechanics, with incredible football acumen.  No reservations on my part.

    Fair enough

  6. Gotta say, I agree with the OP...been saying it for a while now... Rosen’s two concussions to end the season are a MAJOR deal!

Even Sal said they compound and become easier to get after you’ve had your first one...I don’t believe Rosen has made it through an entire college season...how would he ever survive a longer, harder hitting NFL season?

I could see Rosen bolting from the NFL early if he gets another one or two more concussions...remember, he comes from money and doesn’t need football...he’s gonna wanna make sure his brain is functional to achieve his other aspirations...

And he should be off it for non football reason.

Son- “Daddy, what does that name say on the stadium wall?”

    Dad- “That’s OJ Simpson, son.”

Son- “Isn’t that the guy that killed those people?”

Dad- “Nah, son...that was only a hypothetical...he’s a football legend.”

  8. Holy crap, he really admitted to doing it!!!

of course uses the word “hypothetical”, but the way he is telling the story you can tell he is recalling what happened that night

he doesn’t even care...he is stone cold about it saying how he went into a blacked out kind of rage

no doubt.  i am so addicted to this team that's it's very counterproductive. all i want to do is keep up everyday and will read or listen to anything football but more specifically the bills.

i listen to wgr and 950 all day everyday.( except between 10-noon.) i don't do the sabres or hockey.

i bounce between danger and battaglia and shopp and the lapdog. it's so bad that i jones for the john murphy show over the weekends. i need help....or some kind of job at obd:rolleyes:

Haha I hear ya man...I turn WGR off when they start talking hockey...Sal’s my boy...can’t wait till he has his own show instead of Murph.

  10. Hope springs eternal when the team makes a QB change...I think fans were at the point where they had lost all hope with Tyrod- I know I did...I had vowed I wasn’t going to another game as long as Tyrod was the QB because I already knew what the game would look like.

So, now combine a new regime trading him, to having all these picks, to having all these QBs to chose from.   It makes for a very drama filled offseason.

    Two immediate thoughts on this:

    1) Thank God he's gone; hopefully we don't have to see any more Tyrod threads.

    2) I can't believe they got a high 3rd round pick for him!  I thought his value was close to zero on the trade market.

    Well done!

When you’re dealing with the Browns, everything has value :D
