We have to get Darnold, Rosen, or Allen next year.
Not gonna happen with TT under center. The Billsy 7-9 or 8-8 record will destroy that.
I'd try and grab Trubisky this year if we decide to keep TT and groom him. If we let TT go trade back this year to make a strong push for Sam,
Sam to Sammy combo be sweet.

He doesn't eat up a lot of cap space at all, actually. 9.5% is NOT a lot of cap space for a QB.
Eli and Flacco were above 15% of the cap space for their teams last year. Heck, Alex Smith was close to 12%.
Any day now and it will all be over. We beat this topic down hardcore on BBMB. There are pro's and cons to both sides, I'm all for what the new coaching staff decides and will support it. That said, they better address the position very early in future drafts or I might have to drop this damn dish off my roof.

Gordon is easily a no-brainer low risk, high reward if he has his crap together player. He will be on a cheap prove it deal.
If he has to hit the bong and get a perm ban in the NFL that is on him.
