If a good team is not turning it over and our own offense doesn’t score a TD on every drive, we aren’t going to win. Because we never stop anyone. Even the bad teams. We never make big stops and we never force punts. It’s the 1 thing this coach is supposed to be giving us an edge on. Instead It’s the thing that’s hurting us every year and holding us back. This defense does not work. If it’s not completely overhauled and coached by someone other than McDermott, we won’t get there. Just change it now. The Bills owe it to all of us.

    He doesn't have Luke Kuechly at MLB playing his 1st 4 seasons at a HOF level.   DROY in 2012, DPOY in 2013 and 4x all pro 1 team. 

     

    He needs to adapt though to what he has on D as his vanilla regular season D will be picked apart like we have seen numerous times now by top 10 QBs in the league. Even with numerous Defensive coordinators everything looks the exact same year after year which is directly on his shoulders..

     

    I'm willing to give him another season after the crazy draft stock we have and finally some cap room.  Strengthen up the secondary and make a splash move for Myles or Maxx. Further failure from there out if Allen stays healthy an entire season should honestly result in departure.

     

    Add on edit:

    McD has his HOF player on O but missing the HOF player on D keeping us just short of our goals.  Still drives me crazy thinking of Marv's team with 4 HOF'er coming up short.  I truly think if McD had a Bruce Smith on the team we make and possibly win a SB.

    I'm just glad the highest rated AFC Championship ever with 57.4 million viewers got to witness the scumbag NFL refs at their finest.  Nothing will change until viewership just goes south and that is what sucks badly.  I really do not understand how NFL owners do not force the league to fix the utter BS?

     

    I would never watch another game years ago if JA17 never happened.

    "Process" has got us deep into the playoffs. I'm willing to give McD one more year as this was supposed to be a rebuild.  I have not read all these pages but who other than BB would get us over the edge coaching wise that is available?

    Could say the same about 3rd down when Kincaid already had the 1st down they marked a 1/2 yard short to even get to 4th.  

     

    This is when you throw a challenge flag or the stupid eye in the SKY correct the call on 3rd so 4th isn't even talked about. The league as we all know has so many holes in a legit "game of inches". Tech wise they are like 20 years behind.

    Two years in a row, we got what we wanted. Josh Allen with the ball in his hands on the final possession to go win the game. He failed both times. It’s hurts to say it because I love Josh but I have to call a spade a spade. 

    You could say having all 3 timeouts left before the 2 min warning that the D needs a crucial stop to get Allen back the ball for a TD or FG attempt, no?

     

    Which the unit failed at.

    Tough to pin last night on McD due to trying to win against the Chiefs and the Refs at the same time. 

    However, McD is supposed to be a defensive minded coach and year after year in the playoffs we get torched at some phase and it burns hardcore.

     

     

    Coaching issues last night:

    All the 4th and short yardage stuffs running to the left side.  

    2pt conversions fails that should have been extra point attempts (Chased points too early)

    Not running Cook more when averaging 6.5 yards a carry.

    How many "learning experiences" does one coach get? What are we 0-4 against them in the playoffs?
