I tend to agree. In 1997, Cowboys HC Barry Switzer brought a gun to the airport:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Switzer

"In August 1997, Switzer was arrested after a loaded .38-caliber revolver was found in his luggage at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Switzer, who was returning to the team's training camp facility in Austin, said there were children at his Dallas home and he put the gun in his bag to hide it from them. He said he accidentally forgot to remove the gun from the bag before heading to the airport.[17] Switzer pleaded guilty, was fined $3,500, and was given one year deferred adjudication. Two days later, he was fined $75,000 by Jones (equivalent to $136,723 in 2022)"

So, he ended up just paying some fines basically. I know, with Jack Jones' case it is different though, since he has priors (a commercial burglary in 2018 and being suspended by the Patriots for breaking an unspecified team rule).

Uh...he might want to actually hold off buying that jersey.

I mean the point is it was clearly an accident. Nobody thinks he was trying to sneak guns on board to hijack the plane. He forgot they were in there. These cases of celebs or athletes doing thia always get dropped. Yes it was negligent and irresponsible but beyond that, nothing to see here folks.

I never saw anything credible regarding that rumor and he only took Tierney, who was the QB coach here (and there) and Bobby Johnson, who everyone wanted gone.  And there was nothing weird about moving on from Frazier as most everyone wanted him gone/wanted McD to call plays.  Farwell screwed-up the KO, so he was basically fired.  As for Hall, I have no idea what happened there, but I read his wife didn't want to live in Buffalo anymore.  Sounds as plausible as anything else.

This past wild Buffalo winter was the last straw. Off to Florida they go. Makes a ton of sense.

The whole “help you sleep at night thing” Diggs posted and going back to Brit posting “My Husband Would Never” is starting to really make me think Josh did some scumbag stuff. If that is indeed what caused Josh to lead the Bills to only 10 points vs the Bengals, what a huge double whammy. I really hope that if this is true it doesn’t become public as long as Josh is a Bill.

I have heard from two separate sources on different ends of the country that there was a domestic call at Josh’s place the night before the Cinci game that has to do with Josh knocking up a bartender who may or may not have been Stef’s ex.

Is there anything this fanbase can't spin into a positive? 😂

It’s probably personal reasons he doesn’t want to share publicly which is the right thing to do. Depending how bad the “non football related” issue is would determine if Stef is in the wrong or not. We don’t know what it is at this time and can’t accurately judge who is in the wrong here. There is definitely a ton of smoke around the betrayal rumors.

Diggs posted two different messages on his Instagram story. The first said this: “I just be letting people cap. If them lies help you sleep better tell em big dawg.” The second said this: “My phone been silent for like 6 years. Ion play all them sounds and *****.”

Can someone help? I don't speak jive

It’s always funny to me when people feel they are so intelligent that they can’t understand English if there’s any slang involved or not written perfectly. That actually shows you’re less intelligent. I can see if you’re out of touch and don’t know what “cap” is slang for yet but Google knows and a smart person would simply look up the one word. The rest is not tough to understand. Don’t try to appear so intelligent that you appear not so much.

This is the first theory I’ve heard that actually makes me understand why Diggs would be so on tilt.

No idea if there’s truth to it .. but in reading what you wrote, it’s the first time someone has posted something where I wasn’t just like “oh, well Diggs should just get over that”.

Right. “Non football related” and “internal things” makes sense here.

I really hope drunk Josh didn’tdo anything crazy like that cause I don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel if that’s the case. He shoulda just seen if Brit and Stef wanted to hook up for a night to get even 🤷🏾‍♂️ not sure how else you make up for something like that.

Isn’t the rumor that the night before the Bengals playoff game last year, Josh’s gf found out that Josh got some bartender pregnant and they had a huge fight and he got no sleep thats why he played bad. I’m guessing Diggs knew all about this and blames Josh for screwing up another year from getting to the big dance. Not that it was Josh’s fault the year prior obviously. Diggs is extremely competitive and knows his opportunities are dwindling as he gets up there in age.

How does boycotting camp help tho? Does this improve our chances? He's already made his point before this with how he acted in the last game and all offseason. Now it's time to put in the work!

Only thing I can think of is that his talks with Beane and the coaches didn't go well and they didn't agree to a different approach. I think in this type of situation they should agree to do things a little different and at least meet him in the middle. He kinda has us by the balls and we can't play tough guy and act like he doesn't have as much power as the coaches in the grand scheme of things.

Came here to post something almost word-for-word identical to this.  Only difference is that my last Madden purchase was in the 1990s for the Sega Genesis.  But yeah, I'll certainly pick one up as a collector's item.

I was about to post something almost identical to this! Lol! True story. My last Madden purchase was on PlayStation in 97, back in the days when Madden was always on the cover. Over a quarter century later I’m getting one again for sure. Like most here I’m not opening it. Will be a mancave ornament

  9. Pretty sweet! I’ll be seeing Cam in just a few days. He’s participating in my celeb softball game in Philly 💪🏾 We are doing 4 celeb softball games this month and not one Bill was on any of the rosters. Not the case now!

Edit: Actually right after posting this the thought crossed my mind that this signing may actually prevent him from showing up on Saturday 🤔

I mean he's a very good LB. I just think for this specific D he is very replaceable and watching a random game, it shows his instincts are terrible

Excited to see how a much smaller Williams who has much better instincts can evolve that part of our defense.

Oliver does need to play better, though. I think we can all agree on that.

Just curious...do you judge players the same when they play healthy as when they play through injuries that limits them 🤔

For drafted position and contract there absolutely should be an expectation for him to be changing game’s regularly. No one is asking for ludicrous stat lines just consistency. 6-8 sacks a year would be great.

He isn't even paid in the top half of #1 DTs in the league but feel his contract means he should be "changing games regularly" ?? By next offseason his contract won't be in the top 20. Let Beane cook.

I don't love or hate Ed Oliver, I think people want him to be Chris Jones but if that were the case we probably couldn't come close to affording him. He's signed right now as the 12th highest paid DT in the league and as many of these analysts are saying they think he took a home town discount because they're saying he could have had a big pay day had he waited it out but he loves it here. Also those saying he will be making 17M a season, I'm sure it will be spread out for 5 seasons so more like 13.5M or something to that effect? If you don't like the guy I get it but the contract is not bad at all for a disrupting DT again imo.

You've seen his Playoff stats that I've posted a couple of times now, I think a few posts above too.  They're far from impressive.

But thanks, and yeah, we'll see.  Hopefully we're all talking about what a great deal we got come January.

You stay whores are hilarious. It's more to his job that won't show up on a stat sheet.

I can think of 13 solid reasons why he will never be a HC again in the NFL.

I gotta say I hate this argument. McD has a headset on and overhears the play calls and at the late stage of the game should have been right next to Leslie discussing the strategy. Furthermore it’s HIGHLY unlikely he makes that mistake again. You can’t judge a man’s whole value as a coach based on one series. Leslie as HC with a good defensive coordinator can do we’ll. Definitely better than a number of current HCs.

With all that said, enjoy retirement Leslie.

I think she is hotter than Britt. Britt was never really my type. And nor is Josh. Too tall and too cleancut.

Curios because I often see Most’s from you that talk about men and women as if they were one in the same. Assuming you are a man (Bill) are you one of those “a human is a human and I can be in an intimate relation with any human” type thinker or are you just secure in who you are as a man and not seriously attracted to other men but just joke around? This is none of my business but it’ll help me understand the context of some of your posts. No type of disrespect intended by my question.
