  1. From what I rememeber here are his most important campaign promises. I'm going to ignore all his stupid tweets and the Russia probe because most Americans don't care about that.

1.) "Repeal and replace Obamacare." Rocky start as conservatives think it's Obamacare lite, Dems are pointing out it gives massive tax cuts to the rich, and it's likely to get a poor rating by the CBO.

2.) "Temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States." He's cleaned that statement up and followed through on it to a certain extent, but liberal judges are making it tough on him. Also, first executive order on this was poorly executed as it caused massive confusion at airports.

3.) "Bring manufacturing jobs back." I disagree with him on how to bring manufacturing jobs back (free trade agreements and lifting regulations will stimulate the economy, but he is going the progressive way and blocked TPP. He had a decent first jobs report, but there were a few instances of better months during the Obama administration so time will tell on that one.

4.) "Impose tariffs on good from Mexico and China." I haven't heard any story about the administration doing this yet, but it's still early in his presidency.

5.) "Build a wall and Mexico will pay for it. Deport illegal immigrants with a criminal record." Mexico clearly isn't paying for the wall, and it doesn't look like the wall is a top priority right now. However, illegal boarder crossing is down 40% and he's made good on his promise to deport illegal immigrant criminals.

6.) "Renegotiate the Iran deal." I haven't read or heard anything about this yet, but again it's early on in his presidency.

7.) "Cut taxes." The only thing I've seen so far is giving the rich a tax break through the proposed health care plan. Maybe should of started his agenda with tax reform.

8.) "Invest in infrastructure." His proposal of a trillion dollar infrastructure program will be very popular with nearly everybody if done correctly.

9.) "Bomb the hell out of Isis." US drone strikes have gone up 432% since Obama took office. Promise kept, but he also said he'd defeat Isis within 30 days so he hasn't met that goal.

Bottom line is he's done okay so far given the massive amount of promises he's made. He's made a few rookie mistakes, but like all administrations though, time will tell.

  2. I've always voted Democrat because my wife is a public school teacher (Betsy Devos -uggghhh) and my brother was diagnosed with a debilitating chronic illness where he relies on Medicaid right now before he can get disability. However, I disagree with Democrats when it comes to their pro choice stance and wasn't too crazy about them when they killed Vince Foster.

  3.

Well, I'm convinced. I thought I understood science, but this clip from a television show has opened my eyes. I'm riding my bike to work until I can move to the mountains - probably the Colorado Rockies, where I can enjoy beachfront property in my retirement years.

LOL. I told you if you were a denier don't watch it. I just find it funny because Debbie downer Toby from The Office said we're all going to die.

  4. Zach Brown forgot how to tackle the 2nd half of the season. Reggie Ragland is a solid ILB who McDermott hopes will be his "Kuechly". I don't think we keep Alexander or Z. Brown and the LB market isn't that great in free agency. So, it seems our top 3 needs are CB, OLB, and WR in the draft.

  5. The median age during prime time of a Fox News viewer is 68. CNN is 59. MSNBC is 63. I've watched more cable news than usual last year, but none of them interest me as they're all painfully predictable. Fox News is the ultimate Republican propaganda machine and they do it SO well, CNN tries to hide their liberal slant by hiring Trump surrogates (Lewandowski, Jeffrey Lord) but they're not fooling anybody, and MSNBC is like a FOX wanna be for the left. There are reasons Fox News gets more viewers though and you can tell by the exit polls of the 2016 election.

That shows as you look at the 2016 results by age:

18-29 year olds - 55% voted for Hillary and 37% voted for Trump. 8% Independent

30-44 year olds - 50% voted for Hillary and 42% voted for Trump. 8% Independent

45-64 year olds - 44% voted for Hillary and 53% voted for Trump. 3% Independent

65 and older - 45% voted for Hillary and 53% voted for Trump. 3% Independent

Younger people get their news primarily through the internet and more liberal comedy shows like The Daily Show or basically any late night show. Older people are more conservative and therefore watch FOX news. Given Obama got 60% of the youth vote (18-29) in 2008, it's fair to assume that more people voted for an Independent candidate because Hillary was a horrible candidate. As happy as Republicans were to win all three houses, the future of the party may be in more trouble then people realize.

  6. I've got to believe Dennison had a lot to do with this given his offense relies on short to intermediate throws and YAC that involve a lot of play action and boot legs. Plus, he was the QB coach in Baltimore with Taylor in 2014. Props to Taylor for agreeing to restructure as I'm guessing given Glennon's reported contract offer that he would of gotten a better deal elsewhere for QB desperate teams. Oh yeah, it pains me to say this, but good job Whaley.

  7. I was fully against Obamacare (I shouldn't have to pay for insurance being in my early 30's) until I had a younger brother who out of the blue come down with Mitochondrial disorder that caused food to pass 4 times slower though the small intestine signaling to the brain that there was a blockage causing constant nausea and vomiting up food or stomach acid every day. The kicker is that the nausea signal is always there regardless if he eats. He was only 23 at the time (it hit him out of nowhere) so he could stay on his parents health insurance. He had just gotten his Masters degree in 2010, but obviously couldn't work as it hit him really fast and was able to stay on his parents until he was 26. Thanks to medicaid expansion through the ACA he qualified while trying to get disability (a long process for anybody who has been through it). He's been to Cleveland Clinic, Mayoclinic, and Temple University until he finally got a diagnosis that is impossible to cure at the moment. The only thing that keeps him going is anti nausea that he says takes his nausea level from a 9 to a 5. It still sucks but he's able to at least get out of bed. Now, if the GOP just went to the old way of insurance he'd be **** out of luck as they'd likely take him off medicaid and insurance companies wouldn't except him with his preexisting condition. He's lost all his top teeth due to throwing up stomach acid.

I feel horrible for him as he's at the point where a feeding tube may be necessary. He'll never be able to live a normal life all of us take for granted. He was terrified when Trump got elected, but was glad to see the bill proposed by the GOP yesterday as it will keep him on medicaid through 2020 and hopefully have disability by then. All I'm saying is you gain a new perspective when it happens to you or someone close to you. I really hope Rand Paul and the far right conservatives in the House and Senate (Ted Cruz's ilk) don't sway Trump into the disaster we had before Obamacare.

  8. His cabinet picks soured me on him. Especially DeVos, Sessions (hello voter suppression laws), and Pruitt. Carson and Perry have no experience whatsoever as HUD and SOE. I do like the picks of Tillerson, Mattis, Haley, and now McMaster as NSA. I feel more comfortable with Mattis and Haley giving firm speeches condemning Putin.

I guess the Gorsich pick was a good one, but how hard is it really to pick a judge?

The travel ban was a huge screw up as all it did was cause confusion. I'm for the ban, but the roll-out was horrible. Then you have to deal with Trump's dumb tweets and unfounded accusations (crowd size, millions of illegal voters, wiretapping) and listen to the media talk about them for weeks. I don't like Bannon's "economic nationalism" philosophy and Trump's anti free trade rhetoric. Economics 101 tells you free trade, trade deals, and lifting regulations creates the most jobs.

I like the new health care proposal, but will reserve judgment until the final bill is passed. Check back with me in a year.

You are full of schit, again.

Obama's scandals include fast and furious, IRS targeting political opponents, hacking a journalist, Benghazi, mean spirited evictions and shutdowns during government shutdown, a SOS who criminally used an unsafe private server to communicate with classified documents and the same SOS while in office laundering money from not only private citizens but foreign governments. What would you expect though from a guy who bought his house in Chicago with chicanery in collusion with a criminal and beat down political opponents by releasing sealed documents concerning them?

Trump's scandals consist of a shitload of innuendo and false claims against him by Hillary's supporters.

Lol......we've entered the Fox News/shock jock conservative radio world.
