Go out to dinner with Pegula and tell him its time to make some changes.
This^ . He can ( eventually) go to a new team or see to it that an offensive HC ( Brady?) leads the Bills. Sean’s coaching just won’t cut it Vs the top teams.

I’m not opposed to firing McD. I’m just worried more about Pegula replacing him with someone better
I agree , and not in a wishy washy McD kind of way. McDermott should go, but I’m genuinely concerned about Terry’s choice of replacement. Hope it’s an upgrade that can get this team to a Super Bowl. Sean will absolutely waste Josh Allen’s career. He’s too good to not get at least one Lombardi.

Classic loser thread blaming refs, finger pointing all over the place. Good call, bad call, decent call, warm call, cold call….. blind ref, rigged game…. Yap yap yap.
Bills lost to a better team. Gossip won’t change a thing.
I don’t think they lost to a better team today; at least that’s not what I saw. I did see them lose to a better coach today, and I credit them for it. The officiating was bad , but that’s to be expected these days.

Knowing how to win is just a cliche being trotted out by NFL announcers with air time to fill. Pretty much meaningless. The bottom line is this : Most NFL games are close. The Bills lose them because their HC is consistently too conservative in crunch time. It’s not about him knowing how to win- it’s about him being too afraid to try. So he makes choices that he thinks won’t lose in the moment. The problem is, it eventually gives the opponent a better chance to defeat you. In the close ones, they usually do. His record speaks for itself.

McD coached soft at the end of regulation and in OT. Might as well have penciled in the L for the Bills. Joe Brady did have the perfect play called in the OT on 3rd and 7. Darned near bailed Sean out. Gabe or Josh didn’t execute. Still, with 20 seconds and timeouts you have to try to win in regulation with a FG. He played for the coin toss. That part panned out , but you knew if they settled for a FG on their first possession they were cooked as soon as McDs D went on the field. Soft coverage on 3rd and 4 pretty much sealed it. Sean has taken this team as far as his style will allow. Time to move on.

3 out of 10 pick the Bills. Although most predict a close game.
I kinda prefer it like this. May be just perception , but the Bills ( and Josh) seem to perform better this way.

Short week, after an emotional victory against the team that beat them in the SB, and a week before what will likely be their biggest competitor in the NFC if they want to make it back to the big game?
That is a textbook trap game.
If the Eagles had lost in KC, those same people would be saying the Bills are catching them at a bad time.

They say the old rockpile used to have about 2 minutes of hot water for showers then cold the rest of the way. Guys would jog from the field to the showers ‘cause they knew this. Players these days are soft !

Are you serious with cheese whiz or a joke? I use that to repair tire flats
Hahahahaha… completely serious. In Philly it ain’t a cheesteak if it doesn’t have cheese whiz.

Hey, why isn't the league forcing the Hunt family to build a new stadium? Arrowhead is older than Highmark.
Arrowhead had a complete renovation a number of years back. Erie County decided against a full renovation of RWS in favor of a partial ( and much less expensive) one in the mid 2010’s. This was simply delaying the inevitable.

Gotta be ribeye and cheese whiz for starters. Add peppers, mushrooms etc from there.

The league has already told Refs to watch for and call Guards for Offside on tush push plays. Seems they think it’s too easy and bad for the game. This probably bears watching in the offseason.

Just a couple weeks too late. May not have mattered w/ Dorsey as OC though, but interesting to wonder nonetheless.

I’m sure a lot of teams fans could compile such a list. We don’t remember those because it’s not our team. The Dallas Monday night game was lost because the Bills couldn’t cover an onside kick; it wasn’t a McKevin fumble. That was a SNF game vs the Patriots.( Both games were QB’d by the great Trent Edwards I believe ) In the end, the Bills offense didn’t score enough points off the takeaways provided by the defense that night.

Funny thing is when Mora made his famous statement, it turned out the Colts would have made the playoffs … IF they had beat the Bills. As luck would have it, the Bills won the game and made the playoffs. Just sayin…

Ravens for sure.

Don’t care who the heck he is or who you want to compare him to. Just bring back what worked. Yes, the offense has declined since the Beasley role has been left vacant. Someone has to be capable of filing it successfully. Brady needs to find that player.

Not sure I understand your point. Dorsey was not doing a good job and was fired. Josh is also not doing a good job either. He is impatient, bails early, misses open wrs, is hesitant to run, and has made bad decisions leading to him leading the entire league in turnovers, yet again. The solution is hopefully better coordination, but if Josh is unable to clean things up and Play the way he can, very little will change.
Josh is always going to have his share of turnovers. His aggressive style will produce this at times . When he’s functioning at the high level we know he is capable of , you take the small amount of bad with the huge helping of great. When the great is squashed out of his game, that’s when it’s a problem. Brady’s task is to bring the great back into Allen’s game; not to coach it out of him.

How can Joe Brady fairly be judged? I mean hell essentially be calling Dorsey’s plays won’t he… I doubt he can install his own system in less than a week
He won’t be installing a new system , but that’s not required right now. What he needs to do is call plays that work and install gameplans that make sense . There’s more than enough in the playbook to be a very good offense. Dorsey rarely broke tendencies and his game plans were filled with head scratching calls. A fresh point of view is what’s needed here , combined with more use of Allen’s athletic ability. Start by jettisoning the WR screen, shotgun draw etc .

That blitz call was Gregg-Williams-esque.
Yep .. didn’t see it coming after Miami game , but we are watching some very drought- esque football right now.

What an embarrassment. Dropped passes, fumbles , no big defensive plays no pass rush. Why is Dorsey having a midget WR run that pattern ? Why would Josh throw it there ? You’re asking for an INT and got it.

sure, but it's more a comment about how trash the players we added in the offseaon are.
hines and harty and ford combine to make what hopkins makes. even if hines was playing, we aren't getting jack out of these guys. i bet if we had hopkins we'd have at least two more wins. instead we have gadget guys who aren't good and we don't use anyhow.
Hopkins chose the bag over the Bills.. not much they could do there.

They have to run the table at home including the Cowboys game which won't be easy. 8-0 at home and try and pick up another road win along with the Dolphins game which is a must. It's either win the division or no playoffs this year.
If the Bills can’t win more than 2 road games all season they won’t be in the playoffs, and they won’t deserve to be.

crazy how he was just sitting out there and is better than more or less any other line man we have in that game. what the hell is the FO doing?
It takes two for a deal to get done. Didn’t he sign around a similar time with PHL last season ? These vets aren’t looking to sign with a team early. They wait for a call from a contender - probably after the trade deadline - then play half a season and make bank $$. It’s a smart strategy for older vets.

Yep.. no need to take it to the corner. Easy pitch and catch.
Back to back 30 point games and this one should probably have been 40. McD can’t shut the door when called upon.
