  1.

This is where I am at too.

Insane to get rid of that caliber of player for a 6th round pick. Bills traded a proven starter who has had Probowl years for essentially a joke. Simply not enough.

That is not how you build a team and invest in your future.

If Dareus wasn't playing up to his potential, at least part of that blame has to be on the coaches. It's not like Dareus is horrible. He would start for every single NFL team there is right now. Every single one. How in the world is that only worth a 6th round pick?

Another mistake by Beane in my opinion.

If the Bills pass rush and run defense gets worse now - expect the blame to fall where it is due - squarely on Beane.

Bull. Three different coaching regimes so far in his career and he had issues with each one. It's him. It's not coaching.

  2.

    Wrong again.

Too busy believing your own generalizations based on snap counts that don't factor in anything including him leaving on game early, missing one game, and then working his way back from injury. Keep swinging though.

One play? Your evidence is a tweet of one play? Come on. Get serious.

  3. How much do you think Pegula has been involved in the wild roster moves the Bills are making? Since Herschel Walker was traded to the Vikings I don't think I've seen a house cleaning like this. What do you think?

He approves them. What else do you think he'd be doing?

  4. So Darues is used on Run downs hmmm. So again what DT takes thise doubles on Run downs to free up the LBers. Kyle?

You just hurt two positions with this trade the NT and the 3 Tech

For what a 6th round Training Camp Body in 2018?

I said a little more. Dareus is not in every first and second down. And yet guys like Thornton and Washington and Kyle still get the job done.

  5. Intelligence hmm was Dareus traded from the team before they are playing for the division lead? Or was he HELPING that team up until this week?

So now you remove a player the real only player that can stack Double teams and logged 40+ snaps last week and you think the team is better? Then you question my intelligence ha ha ha

Do you understand subtracting a negative is a net positive? That's 4th grade math.

They have other DTs that can take on blocks, and not pay a fortune to a guy that only shows up when he feels like it.

  6. I think thats fair which is why I included the contract part. You should have spent the next 25 games (or whatever it is maximizing the player. You used home a lot last week (comparatively) and he was good. After next year you let him walk (or force a pay cut if he turns a corner). You can teach someone to buy in but you cant teach talent.

How many coaches need to try before you would admit he doesn't want to be taught to buy in?

  7. Yoi are paying him this year ANY WAY trade or not.

So even if he isnt a scheme fit he is better than ANY player you would replace him with

You are not paying him as much as you would have.

Marrone wouldnt have gotten him if he didnt think he could work with him. Obviously

    And just watch what happens.

  8. So were Randy Moss, Corey Dillon, Aaron Hernandez, Golden Tate, Percy Harvin, Marshawn Lynch, etc... Sometimes you need to overlook personalities that you dont like if the talent (and contract) warrants it. You need to find ways to make it work.

Three different HCs can't get through to the guy. When does it become his and not other people'a fault?

  9.

 Okay. I'm sure there's something in the CBA to allow for fan's perceived level of effort.

I'm speaking from a coach and not fan perspective. Get a clue.

They had to send him home from a preseason game. He was losing snaps. Either suspend him or they could have just made him inactive every game andceat his salary. And would make no sense.

  10. Bills forever spinning their wheels. Create holes just to have to fill the created holes.

    There is never any progress

Now need another DT in offseason so instead on one you now need two.

    Need a plethora of WRs

    Still need OG likely two

    A QB

RB is also a big need

    DBs still a need

    Toss some LBers in there.

Win Sunday they can be first in the division. But no progress. Right.

  11. Yes and said that they arent trading him. They arent going to sell low. They are trying to get him back engaged and let him help down the stretch. He is a WAY bigger headache than Dareus.

Who are you getting with $2M and a 6th round pick that make it worthwhile? Id take Dareus over that through next year all day.

Then it's good you're not a GM. Taking an unmotivated guy at a very high cap rate is no way to build a winning team.

Face it. Several different coaches now, guys with different styles from Marrone to Rex to Sean. Different defensive schemes and DCs. And he simply does not show evidence of getting it. So spare me the bit about how it's the coaches that are responsible for motivating him. Coughlin will destroy this kid.
