List of Bills QBs during the Desolation

I don't remember thigpen, thad Lewis started one game I believe. -
those are all improvements that would be nice to see. Duane Jackson-who? (wait..Dane) insert Cody Ford. unless either our luck in close games goes totally to crap or this years schedule is 25-30% harder than laster year i dont see the need for that much improvement just to get us back to where we were last year. all the above should make us competitve in the SB.

good point... it always seemed to me that once he left he got better but as you said..he did have better talent around him as well. thanks for your input. -

are you judging by how he plays now or how he played when he was with us? I feel he raised his game quite a bit later in his career. -
As good as the Bills were last year a few tweaks here and there could merit some substantial improvment. Josh's short coming at times is always looking for the big play. Many times last year he looked and moved on from an easy short pass for something greater and lost his window of opportunity. the one camp report said Josh was taking those and carving up the defense. the D dropped off last year. If we can get back to earlier form on D and not let other teams come back on us, that will also be big. Too many games last year we started out strong and the 3rd qtr hit and it was like kryptonite on the field. Getting star back and some younger more athletic players could do wonders. I think this also may be Brandon's mindset. we dont nec need a star...< --- no reference to the player...we just need slighty better play across the board and some of that is coaching tweaks.

Training Camp practice 8/3: Pads come on

were just getting them ready for KC he looked good in the game against Miami but before that he was always one play away from giving me a heart attack. which is the reason Hyde started doing punts. He sucked but he could field the ball safely. -

as a pure passer i would probably put Orton under or tied with Flutie. He came in washed up and off his couch and still the first time he played i was like... " OH...thats what a qb is supposed to look like..it was night and day different that what we had on the field for awhile. -
so...no fans today and the offense was back to sizzling, hmmm..one could draw conclusions. not me of course, but others.

Lean and Mean, or No? [thread about Bills Defense]
Comebackkid replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well spikes, Ed Reed,. Urlacker. I like the whole premise of a defense basically how it is with the speed guys. I just think you need that one middle linebacker that can cover all the bases when your speed guys miss. Edmunds is okay if he can wrap up otherwise he gets trucked. I'll mention like everyone has said before he doesn't attack, he just waits for them to come to him and by then usually they just run right by him or he gets caught up in traffic. -

Well my question would be, can we be smaller and mean and still avoid injuries. That seems to be the issue when little guys start trying to stop big guys and then they get hurt. It would be nice to have all your fast guys to attack but still have a middle linebacker that could lay the wood to anybody that got loose. -

NFL.com Disrespects Bills Offense

The problem with the bills rushing when using running backs was scheme. I delayed handoff with an offensive line that doesn't block very well does not work. A blind man could have told you when the bills were going to rush last year. -
