Come on Peterman! Lets go kid. I want to see him redeem himself today, so SO much. I love nothing more. I just hope he’s not in his own head too much. Kid has to be pretty nervous I’d think.

The Sabres are playing some good hockey so far this season. There are going to be ups and downs because they have ave a lot of young guys in the lineup as well as a lot of new faces. But they are finally a fun team to watch again! They are actually doing doing the things successful hockey teams do. This truly looks like a different team compared to years past. It’s exciting. Yep. They got points in 2 of their 3 most recent losses. That’s something playoff teams do. They now have points in 6 of their last 7 games and were on a 5 game point streak up until Thursday.

Great first period (outside of the last few minutes anyway). I was hoping they’d come out fired up and I wasn’t disappointed. Now they need to keep their foot on the gas. They say that 3 goal lead can be the most dangerous (lead) in hockey...

But I’d have to look into it. I just happened to remember the Oakland story because I was out in Cali at the time.

They did try to sign him in the offseason. Steve Tasker said they had been trying to sign Anderson since the spring. It took him that long to agree. They also tried to sign Josh McCown, Sam Bradford and showed interest in signing Case Keenum, too. Each chose to sign elsewhere.

So glad Pommer is playing his 1000th game in a Sabres uniform. It just feels right.

That was awesome. Wish I could have been there. Terry Pegula looked like he was trying hard to fight back the tears when they show him while Thurman is thanking him (about 8:30). I love that he’s just a true Bills fan at heart, like the rest of us. He loved those ‘90’s teams as much as we did.

Wow! I don’t think there is another coach in the NFL that has ever had to turn down more job opportunities than Gregg Williams.... He said on Hard Knocks that he turned down 7 other DC positions to come to Cleveland. This is guy is just in, like, crazy demand. People are probably literally kicking his door down to get him to coach their team... lol. I wonder... does he actually believe his own BS?

I still watch it, and still love it.

I am pretty sure Leigh Steinberg was his agent when he retired, because I remember him making an announcement about it, and about Thurman wanting to sign in Buffalo to retire. (if I am remembering correctly, anyway...).

This team reminds me a lot of the 2013 and 2014 Bills. Amazing defense. Terrible offense.

Well, we look to have one side of the ball right. Now they just need to start fixing this offense and we could be in good shape.

I wish Kelvin Benjamin or Charles Clay would lay out to try and make a catch like Gronk just did.
