First government monthly SURPLUS since 2005
Roundybout replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You’re either lying or you don’t live in the U.S. as most grocery goods, especially bananas and coffee, have increased in price due to tariff surcharges. Tops even has it on their signage. -

That’s great! Who paid the tariff money? Who paid the tariff money, Big Blitz? -
Yeah, word on the street is a lot of the original OCM staffers were poached to work as consultants for cannabis companies and it’s left the office badly understaffed.

FEMA cuts, MAGA cries: the hypocrisy hits home
Roundybout replied to Homelander's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Ah, well. -
Well yeah, at the federal level, but California issues cultivation licenses. I don’t think the Feds can outmuscle the states on this matter. I could be wrong, though. I’m only really familiar with the disaster that is NYSOCM. It’s a bad look to be sure. But when Tom Scott is openly saying he’s going to give agents the green light to spill protestors’ blood, people are only going to double down. Is there evidence they were “trafficked” or were they simply unaccompanied, as the news has reported? The raid on the farm was also horribly planned and executed. Sloppy.

It’s not an illegal farm, it has a commercial grow license. Now if they’re using undocumented labor, that’s another thing. Hyundai got caught doing the same thing in Alabama.

Yes, I completely misread your comment. I thought you were asking “do you support Muslims making death threats over cartoons” No, I misread Al Bundy’s comment. I admit, I do struggle rectifying my beliefs in liberalism and freedom of religion with the fact that many world religions are anti-liberal.

He’s been better recently. He is finally going in on housing development by signing two bills gutting CEQR. He’s also seemed to wake up on the homeless issue by allowing more police sweeps and mandatory rehabs. He’s also done stupid stuff like host a podcast with Steve goddamn Bannon. He needs to learn that moderate republicans don’t exist anymore and he doesn’t have to share air time with borderline neonazis to appeal to the other side of the aisle

Newsome is the left’s Mitt Romney IMO. He’s just not that popular or charismatic enough to win nationally.

“Removed” means death to you? No, I have issues with everyone making death threats over political cartoons. Muslims, MAGA, martians, etc. It’s absurd.

Superman movie - Gunn: “Yes, it’s about politics.”
Roundybout replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I saw it this evening and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice to have a DC superhero movie with an upbeat feel for a change. -
Name one death threat I’ve sent against ICE agents. Name one. Just one .

But an inside, anonymous source with Buffalo Rumblings has reported that Buffalo is set to reveal a new alternate helmet on July 22. What, exactly, we can expect hasn’t been shared for obvious reasons. For now all we can do is speculate whether One Bills Drive will roll out a new modern take on their current helmet, a redesigned throwback, or something else entirely. It’s believed this reveal isn’t related to the Nike-sponsored Rivalries series uniforms that the Bills are part of in 2025.”

I think there’s a smidge of difference here. A false equivalency fallacy, if you will. I disagree with any death threats given to media like this.
