    They had no sirens, first of all, and second of all it’s being reported that the forecast didn’t account for the amount of rain they got. Then fund the NWS more.

    Certainly. The NOAA budget was cut. The area did not have a proper alert system in place. Now you see why slashing government funding is bad.
