The vast majority of immigrants are hard workers with jobs. Thats evidenced by the fact that ICE has to keep raiding job sites, and that Trump had to back track and pause ICE raids on farms.

Yes, I support the free movement of people where they see fit. I have never said anything about total amnesty. If you want to come up with an actual plan to get the real criminals out, instead of “mass deportations,” go for it. But that’s not the goal. More funding for ICE with plans to begin stripping citizenship away from Americans is a gigantic warning flag. You support an authoritarian government that’s increasingly stomping on all immigration and people who don’t fall in lockstep with the MAGA ideology.

With what resources are they developing? How are they to change their institutions? We used to help with that. Then MAGA decided it was communism and now millions will die.

Many reasons. Developing nations don’t have the capacity for a welfare net, or even basic services. They do not have the same trade agreements and access to the global market. They don’t have the purchasing power for goods like medicine and raw materials. I enjoy conversing with @Orlando Buffalo because he argues in good faith and doesn’t resort to digging up posts from two years ago as some kind of “gotcha”

No need for the nastiness. There is no difference between the kids. They have the same human rights, same dreams, same basic needs. Once you realize that, you’ll figure out why I’m so opposed to ICE and MAGA.
