Would you put Pancake House above or below IHOP?
-
Dont you know? Sammy Watkins should be able to split like a transformer.....and become WR number 1 and WR number 1a
you know what we need? A duplicator.
-
And ultimately it didn't work out.
because of the aforementioned knee explosion. Who knows what would have happened if he rested the Seattle game.
-
Yep. And look how trading up for RGIII worked out
.
Worked in 2012 when they went to the playoffs, and before his knee got exploded.
-
The Bucs did not move up, they already had the # 1 pick. The Rams traded a fortune to get Goff in contrast.
Stay put. If a guy you think has it is availble at 10 take him. And be prepared to take the criticism from the same fans saying you had to take a QB at 10 if he doesn't pan out.
oops, sorry. Had it in my head that they traded up from lower that year. I must have been thinking of the RGIII 'Skins/Rams trade.
-
Moving up to take a questionable QB fails way more than it succeeds. And teams will be dumb and move ahead of us to do so again this year. Let them.
recently it seems to be working. Titans/Bucs/Eagles all got their guys.

He was so misunderstood

Yet can't miss guys like Leaf, Russell, Couch, etc... were can't miss guys...
And as far as the media telling everyone about this class... let's not forget they aren't always right either.
My personal take is these QBS are to developmental. However, I also concede I'm not always right.
If buffalo does take a QB they obviously think the guy is worthy of that pick. Right wrong or indifferent.
I think Russell and Leaf had a lot more issues than the new crop (except for maybe Chad Kelly).
Russell was dumb as a stump and mostly used his unbelievable size to win everybody over. Leaf also was an idiot, though it seems that his life is turning around now that he is out of prison and off the purple drank.
What I am seeing with this batch of QBs is the fact that a lot of them seem to be leaders (Watson/Trub/Mahomes). I dont look at Russell and see a leader.
I agree with what you say though. It just boils down to it being a crapshoot. Look at Dak, and, to an extent, Cousins.

Do we have a better number two WR on the roster right now than Woods-nope. A better backup RB than MG-nope. Now the Bills have to use draft picks on them.
We still have time to match Gilly's offer sheet, but even if we don't Whaley seems to have a knack for getting late round RB steals (KW, JW).
WR is also deep this draft. Take Juju Smith-Schuster in the second and you're good to go.
-
That amazing McCoy trade fell into his lap. He's terrible with the cap. Lost Woods and MG for the offense. Two key parts. This is called spinning wheels. Wasted money on Harvin and Bush in 2016. His body of work is below average.
If we paid Woods 8 mill, people would complain we overpaid him for a WR2 spot, and you seriously cannot call Mr. Glass Incarnate a "key part" of the Bills' offense.

In my opinion, everything about Tyrod screams "bridge deal/placeholder" from his reduced deal to the fact that we waited so long to give it to him. It looks like we have a lot less confidence in him than before.
I definitely think QB is at least heavily considered at 10, and that there might be something behind all the smoke and mirrors.

How is the fund raising going?
I just added a bit to bump things up!
you guys are the best! I've gotten a lot of cash donations as well. Thank you all!

I'll maintain that the two best wing places in Buffalo are Elmo's and Caputi's.
Elmo's are good. Franco's are not bad either in a pinch.
-
I don't think Whaley can afford to draft more medical question marks, regardless of talent.
-
Opener for sure, maybe Raiders.
-
His reasoning was that he drank a ton of water beforehand because he was sick or something.
-
Russ Brandon was seen silently laughing in the corner of the press room.

Still looks like a bank inside interestingly. The order counter is the tellers window. Very unique vibe there, they even play bootleg movies for you to watch while they make the subsMy old neighborhood, Broadway-Fillmore. That building used to be a bank back in my day. I'll have to check it out next time I'm home.

He HAS HUNG himself.

Maybe he spilled a drink on himself and decided to teach himself a lesson?
Ouch

That's a cheerful way to start the day.

Shy's just a hoagie and burger joint; the "steakhouse" name is a bit misleadinghow's their steaks ?
I'm still looking for a great steakhouse as my go to place closed down 10 years due to the Casino (people are dumb and think casinos are automatically better). Also EB Greens WAS great and now is ok
The only "fancy" steakhouse I've really been to around here is Salvatore's, which is pretty good. SEAR on Delaware is another.

I will save you the time. Mahomes is a game changing QB. He is the next Rogers. If you draft him the team that gets him will be set
for the next 12 years. Future Super Bowl winner and Probowler. Simply put the best player in this draft.
I like Mahomes as much as the next guy, but lets pump the brakes a little
-
I can't say that he is the worst. Average, but not the worst. He has a knack for finding FA talent (see Gillislee, Michael).

Good to know I've lived 5 minutes from a pancake house but never have gotten to make my way there.
