They only give you one fry? That really sucks unless it's a curly fry that if you unwind it....it's 10 feet long.
No it’s a regular order of French fries lol
they only have a small or regular
I just bought some Sahlens and am about to grill some footlongs up!

If you are a fan of chili I can see why you like Louies because their sauce

As a Buffalonian I will say Teds Hotdogs. And that is fast food to us because you wait in line longer and Sonic and McDonalds ?
cant go wrong with 2 footlongs and a fry

4 minutes ago, NickelCity said:A fair opinion to give. You posted the "country boy" comment in response to a post stating that Allen was from California and has injured his shoulder/clavicle a few times. I guess the implication was wide open to interpretation, because I was looking for the connection between yours and what you quoted.
All good.
I might have quoted the wrong post
I quoted the one about him from California because him and Rosen are both native to California but have had completely different upbringings
one on a tennis court in country clubs, the other working on a farm in Firebaugh

Allen being a country kid is not mutually exclusive from being from California. The state has mountains and deserts, grazing country, farm land, rivers, the ocean, alpine lakes (and more!). It is not just LA and the Bay Area.
Viva Allen el Californiano!
Obviously
My point was most people who farm or grow up on farms have good work ethics
They usually aren’t lazy

You don't think the fact that Josh Allen was 6'3" and 180 lbs when he graduated HS may have had something to do with it? He wasn't a physical specimen with a big arm and sky-high physical potential then, so he didn't draw the interest due to a big guy with a big arm and big physical potential. Because he wasn't.
There's also the HS he played at. Fact that even Zeke Elliot had slower recruiting and fewer offers than you might think an RB with his chops would have drawn, due to playing at a small college prep school in St Louis instead of a big "football powerhouse" school in Texas etc. College recruiters simply did not have Firebaugh on their circuit, any more than they had John Burroughs School. (Next RB out of there way less talented than Zeke, but got way more looks.)
You're right on about the "rural living doesn't automatically impart a better work ethic", but by all accounts Allen's folks are hard workers and expected their boys to pitch in. Right on too rural areas are awful, awful for drug addiction and child abuse, in large part due to lack of opportunity and poverty. Farming still relatively prosperous in Fresno County though. Not like the gutted heartland here.
Also Heisman winner and #1 overall pick Baker mayfield only had 4 D1 offers coming out of HS
and only 1 major BCS offer (Washington State)
with Rice, florida Atlantic and New Mexico... quite the pickings

We are going with the 4-3 3 DT set huh?
It’s been done before... especially with a 43 under
the Bills a few years ago rolled with Mario, Dareus, Kyle, and Allen Branch at end
Branch was 6’6 350... but with decent quickness can play an under end

I wouldn't want to see that package unless it's once in a long while to throw the offensive team off - for a very specific reason.
That is obviously a unique package for passing downs with the ability to stop run but we are better set up for something like that then a typical dime package with 1 LBr
this lets you stuff the run a bit better than your typical nickel package as well
Humber will probably be the 3rd backer again unless Vallejo shows up

Good thing she had the chest protector!
Don't/can't baseball players (especially Little Leaguers) die getting hit in chest with a ball... I know it was puck though.
They do sell heart protectors and I’m sure it’s possible but it’s probably way more likely to get killed by a line drive to the face
I took a liner to the chest once and I guess I have pecs of steel because it didn’t effect me to the shock of the coach

You are correct. I believe they want him to be versatile enough to be a Mike as well as outside on occasion, we are going to have to be creative if we are ever going to fix that matchup. I guess that is asking to much of a 20 yr old rookie...this year. Hell line him up on the outside on Gronk if that is where they put him, Edmunds has more speed than gronk does and bet on wingspan. You going to beat a Brady/Belichek/Gronk combo you have to be creative and take chances.
Of course.
Honestly in passing situations I would be a big fan of a sub package Nickel 3-3-5
Phillips, Star, Kyle on line
Weakside- Humber. Mike- Milano. Sam- Tremaine
that would give Tremaine the flexibility to match up all over especially with a TE

Finally we might have a guy that can actually cover Gronk without holding him (#27) every other play but i think this year will be tough on the rookie with Belichek/Brady
I’m sure he will matchup at points but Mikes usually cover RBs out of the backfield with OLBs on the TE in a base 43
heck McDaniels lines Gronk out wide so he has to be covered by a CB lol

Dimarco is actually very capable in the pass game, Dennison was just dull and super basic , look at the impact he had in ATL under Shanahan in 2016
He has 44 catches in 6 seasons with a career high of 13 catches
capable yes, dangerous not really.

I don't really consider BFLo NorthEast... Its 500 miles from Chicago... In the mid-400s away from Boston & New York... But it has to be placed in a region, guess it's NorthEast!
New York as a state is definitely a north eastern state.
you can regionalize Buffalo I guess to Great Lakes region but New York is definitely a State in North Eastern US if you had to place it like you said lol

Hottest summer? Huh?
BFLo cooler summers (drier?), warmer/wetter (snow) winters.
Here (Illiana area) it is hot summers (wetter), cold drier/cold winters.
Well Illinois isn’t the north east .
but I remember I read last year that Buffalo has the highest average temperature of any North east City
maybe it’s BS

Based on reports so far (including OTA's and minicamp), I'm thinking the WR ranking currently looks something like this...
1. Kelvin Benjamin
2. Jeremy Kerley
3. Andre Holmes
4. Malachi Dupree
5. Brandon Reilly
6. Rod Streater
7. Robert Foster
8. Zay Jones
9. Quan Bray
10. Kaelin Clay
11. Raymond McCloud
12. Austin Proehl
13. Cam Phillips
Proehl looked better than Ray Ray, Clay, Bray, Foster and Reilly day 1 Of camp
-
My favorite underdog rookie this year is Proehl...
he caught everything ...
it would be something if both Proehl and Reilly become good players for us

The 6-7 reps referred to are reps with the 1's. There would have been position drills, 7-on-7, then team, mostly work with the 3's. Overall in the evening surely Allen got far more than 6-7 reps.
We don't know what was going on, but football is an emotional, competitive game and to get where he is from no college offers and a letter writing campaign, Allen has to have some of that emotional, competitive fire under the "aw shucks" calm country boy demeanor. Who knows why, but it also has to be a pretty short incident since 716 didn't see it. Maybe he's been working on technique and with the nerves of camp he reverted and he's mad at himself.
Sorry, I saw Allen have about 6-7 first team reps.
Thanks for mentioning that Hapless,he had more throughout the drills and day
