  1. yup! That's the way to do it,Whaley. Let's see how much cap that freed up.And if we draft a QB at ten,I'm ok as well. That would also save us from more cap room from signing Hoyer....
  2. The most logical decision. Good job Whaley.
  3. even with the revolving door at RT,we've led the league in rushing, right? That's "worked out well",if not stellar.wouldn't you agree to that? ^^^this is the plan to follow,no doubt
  4. holy crap! If Buffalo was seriously considering that contract,or anywhere NEAR said contract, they better just get Mr.Bobby signed, and Scrape the leftovers for a RT
  5. I dont know about smarter, but a better talent for sure!
  6. I agree he is elite. But worth the #10 when we have the depth I stated, and so many other holes to fill? Anybody's guess as to who may,or may not be throwing it to him at this point...I wouldn't go TE in the first if we had Rodgers slinging the rock. Not with this defensive mess we're in
  7. Money talks....it's not a"Billsy" move if someone offers more money man
  8. The TE's this year are fast! I'm not thinking it's worth the tenth overall pick. We got Clay,O'leary came on pretty good, and can probably retain Gragg cheap enough.I'd roll into the season with that, while Logan Thomas gets some reps for depth. That's just me tho
  9. as for Kujo and Henderson, both are medical issues. And I thought I seen reported that Mills was supposed to meet with FO Saturday to discuss a new contract? I'm guessing he wanted too much. So,if we're gonna spend that kind of cash,we may as well upgrade the position. The draft is definitely weak this year for OL
  10. I think Seymour was drafted as insurance from losing Gilmore, with the chance that he could also play slot. if we chose to either retain Gilmore,or draft a top CB,that would still upgrade the nickel. Pretty safe and smart plan imo.
  11. you dont? Ever hear of Gronk?
  12. I'm guessing Seymour replaces NRC and we use a pick in round one or two to replace Gilmore
  13. I agree, but is a second and a fourth too much for TT? I don't think it's unreasonable at all.He is a two year starting, back to back pro-bowl QB.....and argueably heading into his prime
  14. he Eagles got a first, and a fourth for Bradford. Is TT's value more than that? Again I say a second and a fourth would be fair, especially if someone was willing to pick up half his cap hit for this year
  15. there is a ton of talent in this draft. Given the names, combine results, and team needs, there will definitely be some first round talent well into the second round. But somebody will fall in love with his speed, and draft him early. If he's there for us in the second,he would be a great fit/cost. And I think that's very possible. I say that because although he's fast, very fast!, he wasn't asked to cover very often in school. He was a more natural pass rusher. And for that reason alone,he may be in play in the early stages of round two. As a coverage lb,I still think Cunningham is the more consistent talent...at this point
  16. a two year starting QB might be worth more than just a second round pick. I'm guessing a second and a fourth would do it. They get a two year starter, with 3 years left on his contract, while drafting "their" guy this year, and letting him sit and learn behind a consummate pro, albeit a somewhat limited one. We can take a stab at one of the other top qb's,while adding a couple picks. It's really just preference at this point. I'm a fan of TT,but I wouldn't be completely opposed to this scenario
  17. not a bad plan,if any of those are considered an upgrade. If all four are there at ten,who ya taking, and why?
  18. Lord knows we have enough of them lol
  19. Ragland shouldn't play Will. Ideally,he would play Sam,and maybe even Mike. I think Wlb should be in play in round one,if we can trade down a bit. That'd give us Rookie,P Brown, and Ragland. Otherwise,if we keep Z Brown on the weakside, give me Rags in the middle, and pick up Jarrad Davis to play Sam.All of this is dependent on FA tho,so there is no wrong answer, just an opinion
  20. That kid can fly! I'm surprised Cunningham ran a 4.68 I thought he'd be a little closer to Reddick's speed. Anyway, FWIW Mayock had his top four as Foster,Reddick,Cunningham, then Davis. I'd be happy with any of them.
  21. personally,I say yes. It'd be nice to trade down a few spots, maybe 5-6, and grab him there.
  22. I don't recall saying he can cover like Deion Jones. And I concede that Davis can't play in space like Reddick, but it's the rest of his game that I compare to Mack. The hard hitting. The shedding of blocks to make plays. The passion, and controlled anger he plays with. Lb is a huge need for McD and his defense. I'd be thrilled to land either, but the absolute best fit would be Zach Cunningham imo.
  23. I didn't say he was Mack, just more like him than Reddick.... and good second round value? You bet he his!
  24. I don't know if he's the next Mack, but he's a great talent. The guy I hope to land, and who plays more like Mack in my opinion, is Jarrad Davis. Please let him be there for us in the second!! This kid is a beast! Expected to run around a 4.7,but don't let that fool ya,he can FLY to the ball and cause chaos and destruction. ..my favorite traits in a LB
