  1. Let's give him some run versus week 1 players

Teller (6’5/314) made 43 starts on the Hokies’ line, manning left guard and allowing only five QB pressures (PFF) without a sack in 2017. Teller earned PFF College’s No. 9 run-blocking grade in the nation among guards, winning with a highly aggressive playing style. Teller showed up as a plus athlete in Indy with 75th-percentile SPARQ results and 30 reps on the bench. Long armed (34") with movement skills and a proven block winner, Teller offers legitimate starting potential.

Looks like Allen is starting ... ready or not .... because our management incompetently gave away our only other alternative.

Let the official derailing of this kids career begin.  No blockers.  No Receivers.  Few who really give a damn.

The good news is that Bosa looks to be out so the over under on how many times Allen gets sacked is down to 5. lol.

    Yuck.

We can only hope and pray for the best --- that is what happens when management fails to create contingency plans.

Should be right at home .. given the talent of his Wyoming team .. we'll see what happens

  3. I'm going to disagree with incompetence and go with blind loyalty .. hindsight 20/20 ... the signing of Star was the blind loyalty at McD & Beane to the Carolina way and wanted to recreate the "Luke Keuchly" defense in Buffalo by having a plug to let the LB's run free .. problem is Star is not the same Star he was when he came out and play has gone down stats the last few years clearly show that ... again hindsight 20/20 .. take those bucks and put in the OL .. get a large tub of goo on the cheap and put at DT to block the middle ... and let the other defensive players fly around ... but we poured the bucks into Star and took away from bigger needs.

  4. Overall ... very happy with what I saw last night (final score aside) ... so what if Carolina's 3rd stringers are better than ours

    Offense

    - Liked the new offensive playcalling

    - Kelvin's play .. looking forward to Coleman/Zay in game 2

    - OL .. Teller ..liked what I saw (he's got a nasty streak) and Newhouse's block on the TD run opening the hole was awesome

    - Agree with starting either Nate/AJ .. but wow given time Josh's arm ... that first throw of the 2nd half .... only if real receiver out there

    - Marcus Murphy ...giddyup ... nice hard running

    - Cut Foster

    Defense

    - Harrison Phillips ... yea boy

    - Starting Defense (net of covering screens/dump offs) looked good ... love our secondary

    - Holy cow ... Shaq showed up

    - Edmunds looks huge sitting there in the middle ... think the butterflies took over last night ... look forward to more in future games

Kelvin was right ... saw last night .. Cam can't hit the broadside of a barn.

Was stuck watching the Panther's Broadcast as I live in NC ... Mick Mixon the play by play (who I'm not a fan of anyway)  .. ended the first quarter by saying end of the 1st quarter from New Era field .. in Erie County Pennsylvania ... YES Pennsylvania .... guess its preseason for the broadcasters as well.

Bring it Corey .... welcome aboard .... prove away all season long!!  Couple of other Great Tweets on what he brings with a real QB .. not sure we our QBs are ready just yet .. but if they can play up to McCown level

    (Tweet from Pat Thorman)

    Corey Coleman QBs:

    Kizer: 8.5 games
    RGIII: 5 games
    McCown: 2 games
    Kessler: 1 game
    McCown/Kessler: 2 games

    (2 full games w/ McCown: 13 tgt, 8 rec, 142 yds, 3 TD)

A couple fluke injuries and a QB clowncar in a 1-31 circus. Now he’s a “bust” and sold for peanuts. Brilliant.

Hey guys and gals... I just wanted  to point out something obvious, but needs to be said anyway.

This is a Buffalo Bills message board and though occasionally conversations get heated, for the most part, most everyone should be transparent to the moderators in day-to-day conversations.

However, if you find yourself reporting posts every single day or if you have your posts reported every single day then that means you are inserting yourself into the life of the moderators on a daily basis. There is absolutely no reason in the world why this should ever happen.

Interacting conflict free on a message board is a very low bar of social interaction to clear. We have had thousands of people come through here and able to navigate that successfully.

Please do not be a high maintenance poster. Thanks.

How does one get classified as a "moderator"?

  7. Look for yourself

    http://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/

San Fran - Garcon, Goodwin, Taylor (Jimmy G the QB)

Jags - Marquis Lee,  Donte Moncrief, ?? (not a huge Bortles fan)

Washington - Doctson, Crowder, Richardson (Capt Kirk was throwing last year)

Indy - Name a WR beyond Hilton  (Who is awesome) .. no real QB with Luck injured last year

Jets - Enunwa, Anderson, Kearse ... woof at QB

Carolina - Funchess, Smith, Samuel .. granted drafted Moore .. but Cam as QB (not a great passer really)

Tenn - Matthews, Davis (who was as big a bust last year as Zay), Taylor?? (Mariotta as QB)

In my humble opinion ... just saying at best our crew is a coin flip vs. these crews .. thanks for reading for the 61st time and coming back down to bottom 3 :)

You could use some objectivity yourself. AS OF RIGHT NOW, the Bills are probably a bottom 3 group at the WR position. What is false about that statement? What is so negative about that take? BASED ON THE WR TALENT on the roster, it's a bad unit from what we've seen at out of these guys so far.

Why do people get their panties in a bunch over FACTS?

Jones was AWFUL last year. Yea he was a rookie and a 2nd round pick(which is why he will make the team) with potential and needs to step up big time for the Bills to have even an average group of WR's.

Its possible one of the late round picks or UDFA WRs could emerge as a good WR, but what are the chances of that based on the history of the league?

Nope there a few other homer, kool aid drinkers, glass is half full, the sky isn't falling fans out there.

My thread doesn't say their the best .. not top half .. but I don't think are bottom 3 ala Scott Law .. I'm looking forward to a new QB and seeing what that allows these guys to produce.

Bottom third would have them below 21. You said they aren’t bottom third which would have them 21 or higher. You said they weren’t top half so they’d be below 16. Not top half and not bottom 3rd would have them between 17-22. I was being generous by asking for the minimum number of teams worse off 11 to meet your requirements. If you don’t believe they are bottom 3rd, which you said again, there are 11 teams worse. I’m asking you who those 11 teams are?

OK .. Kirby .. will try to make it easy for you .. read from top to bottom the posts  .. how did "bottom 3" from Scott Law turn into 21?

Three is a whole number ... 1/3 is a fraction .. where did you see the fraction in my comments?

  9. Kirby .. holy linguistics and mathematics ... it was merely a countdown in my prior comment indicating I never said they were best .. to not top half .... to not bottom 3 to counter Scott Law's assertion .. now you've twisted that to say I've indicated they are ranked just past  top half ala 17-21 ... did you also do the crowd count at the Trump Inauguration??

Bottom line, do you think Scott Law is correct .. are they bottom 3?  That was the true point of my comment.

Anyone that can’t judge a WR without the QB is clueless. When Josh Gordon led the league with Hoyer and Campbell throwing the ball was it tough to judge him? What about Hopkins with Savage? A good WR is a good WR whether Tom Brady is throwing him the ball or Tom Savage.

So many have stuck their heads in the sand or made excuses for the Bills receivers. Beane tried to trade back up for Christian Kirk. He knows that the group isn’t good. That’s fine. This wasn’t an overnight rebuild. We don’t need to pretend though. Let’s say what it is, the Bills receivers are bad. No one will argue with that.

Wow ... that's a leap ... my point of my comment and your reply .. do any of the current SF wideouts compare to Josh Gordon or Hopkins in your opinion Kirby  Personally, I think not ... Jimmy G . .made mid tier WR perform when he took over  ... you go on the tangent to pulling two stud WRs and their weak QBs .. that's the counter argument to my point ... I agree STUD WRs can outplay their weak QBs ... we don't have Stud WRs and my post never said that ... but we have servicable WRs .. and now hopefully have a QB that can get them the ball on a more regular basis than our previous QB

I most definitely didn’t think Tyrod was awesome.  It’s been documented on this site.

So can you judge a group of QB's if their QB throwing the ball was mediocre?

Look what Jimmy G did to the 49ers .. those aren't All pros on the outside .. though one is a former Bill ...

All this hate towards our WR's and we had a declining QB the last 3 years with a sound running game and decent OL ... should of been many more opportunities .. he just didn't go after them .. was more concerned about the turnover.
