We could also blame the defense. They played like crap most of the game and made it way too easy on the Chiefs.

I wouldn't blame it on "building through the draft" I would blame it on Whaley being a terrible GM. I actually think Nix was a lot better GM than Whaley. Go back and look at his drafts. At least he picked a lot of solid players.

Whaley sucks as GM. Not sure what the Pegula's see in him besides being a Pittsburgh guy?

I tend to agree with this ^ I don't completely hate bringing Taylor but I don't love it either because he probably only gets 8 or 9 wins. Wish we would've went after Romo or Cousins... or tanked for the USC kid like you were saying.

I know the D wasn't good but either was the passing offense. Taylor was near the bottom of the league in both passing yards and TD passes. The only bright spot was our rushing offense with McCoy.

Why would you want one of worst passing QB's in the league? Not trying to hate on Taylor but when it comes to passing he's near the bottom of the league.

So if we offered Dallas a decent draft pick they would just turn it down? I don't see how Romo would have a choice unless he decided to retire. And you say we can draft a QB but you really feel confident with Whaley picking that guy? Look at the guy's he picked in the past and you might throw up a little.

Actually, quite the opposite. BBMB was filled with posters drinking way too much koolaid. What are they trying to do by bringing back TT though? Taylor will get us 8-8, maybe 9-7. If the goal was to win a championship we should've gone all in for Romo, or tanked for the USC qb. Not really. Mostly fans drinking way too much koolaid.

They are good people but they seem pretty bad at running a football team. First of all they keep Doug Whaley as GM (which a lot of people thought he should have been gone) Ok fine... Then it's reported that Whaley wants a new QB, and Mcdermott wants to keep Taylor... AND ownership ends up siding with the coach over the GM? How do you keep a GM and then not even listen to him? This is just baffling... winning teams don't operate like this.

Romo was available. Just heard earlier the Cowboys are releasing him tomorrow unless they get a decent trade offer... Which means we could've just traded for him. People love to hate on Cutler but he's really not that bad. He has a big time arm, puts up a lot of passing yards, and is still only 33. He would've been a solid upgrade.

Yeah and Taylor throws for like 160 yards and 1TD a game... He's not that good.

They had plenty of options that would've been much better than Taylor. They could have pursed Romo, Cousins, Cutler.... You might not like those guys but they are all better quarterbacks than TT.

He's a putrid passer. We'll be lucky to go 8-8. This team is never going to win.

WTF I'm just hearing about this. Unbelievable. Why did it get shut down?? Can't believe there's not more outrage over this. To have the official team message board shutdown without warning is a pretty freaking big deal IMO.
