That was possibly Allen’s best drive ever
What were his stats? Haven’t seen yet. Like 11/12?

What is Daryl Johnson wearing?

Ugly, ugly series.
Came out firing then they slow down to eat clock and they lose rhythm.

I feel stupid by I don't understand what happened.
Is it just always a live ball when it touches the ground after kickoff?
If yes, why the hell McKenzie let it hit the ground?
If not, what else happened?
If it goes 10 yards it’s a free ball whether touches ground or bill or nothing.

These QBs are schooled on how to fool Edmunds with their eyes and he falls for it every time.

Just a great individual effort.

I love that Josh is playing well at home in front of fans. I was worried about him being too amped to do so. Looks chill back there, in command.

D must be hungry sitting so long. Go eat!

Man that replay showing Diggs trying to rub, any D can sniff that out. Crap call and execution.

How does Motor not run that route to the 1st down marker?? He made his cut a yard shy
He was touted as a tackle breaker so maybe he thinks he can fight for it?

2 bad calls in a row.

Allen is in the middle of a slump. The more I think about it the more confident I am he will come out of it. One of these weeks he is going to come out firing the ball like 2020 MVP caliber Josh Allen and never look back. I have no objective reason to believe this, I just feel it with absolute certainty. You don't escape a slump by trying to get out of it. You just keep playing until it goes away on its own. Allen is working through that process now. He did not suddenly forget how to play QB.

Great summary. #6 is the focus of most of us cause what else can you criticize after a game like that?
There are several head scratching calls per half and Danoll’s plays seem to be designed well but often executed with the wrong personnel IMO. That shovel pass to Moss where JA got lit up? Moss is too slow for that. You run that play with McKenzie, but then the D knows it’s coming. So what do you do? Maybe not run it or try with Motor. It’s like that backward pass on 4th down last week. As you say, something is off.
I think with time this will iron out and if the D stays aggressive like this—watch out!

One thing that I’m hypothesizing may be playing a role in the O’s and JA’s lack of dazzle is Daboll designing and calling plays that are too cute/complex in order to “show off” for potential HC suitors.
They mentioned the coaches put in a bunch of new plays yesterday, why? Things are very dynamic on offense it looks like and there’s a strange disconnect that frankly shouldn’t be there after having the core together a couple years. I think Daboll is trying to prove his brilliance.-

In pop Warner we had a kid like that we called “pinball”.
But we could call him Zach “Newton’s cradle” Moss.

What a terrible shut out that was, man we're terrible. 🙄
Also Zach Moss needs a physics related nickname because that was hilarious and awesome.

Guys aren’t running wide open last 2 weeks and Josh can’t fit the ball in those tight spaces.
-
Offense needs to get its head out of its a@@ here. D is playing exceptionally.

Most of the calls were legit. Their defensive line flat out owned our OL. Both Dawkins and Williams were terrible today. Feliciano and Ford were not great either. The PI on Wallace was the one a that I was miffed aboutYeah I’m not keen on blaming refs but you have to say that home field advantage i.e. biased refereeing in favor of the home team, is really not a thing in Buffalo. Does flagrant undisciplined penalties explain it, possibly. It’s not a thing though.

no homefield advantage for Buffalo. We are better in an empty stadium. I blame the fans.
I can’t tell if you’re joking but it’s like the refs try to offset the clear home fan advantage with lopsided calls. Because you can’t expect the fans to help that much AND get home field advantage refereeing.
