Hey, now. Have ye no faith in the 2025-2026 clearance bin backup goaltender that they're apparently going to sign? I'm sure he'll look great in the second half of the season once UPL and their Charmin soft defense backstops them to a guaranteed 15th consecutive season missing the playoffs by Christmas again.

    Deer zir,

Did day men-shun me by name?!

What the heck is up with this draft format? The production looks like something from the Covid years, I had to shut it off.

I hardly watched as well. It was confusing to me because the draft tracker was listing the order by overall draft number but Daly was announcing the draft number as the number within each round. Stupid.

The NHL is just softening us up with this show of bush league management, in preparation for awarding one of the new franchises to Atlanta. 😁

Five American cities in the running to get the two expansion teams in the NHL wants to have.

It's almost a shame that Tammy Faye Bakker went on to her eternal reward a few years back.  Her tearful entreaties on behalf of the good people of Atlanta might just have brought a well deserved third NHL franchise to the city. 🙄🤨

    Were you missing him?

HOUSE always seems to liven up the joint. 😁

I am curious as to where Saxum (Limeaid) has been.  Hasn't been seen here since November.  I vaguely remember he had some health issues prior to that.

Hard to see this team becoming a competitive franchise again with the clowns they have in charge. Hard to understand how a guy crying tears of joy when he bought the team is ok with his budget staff tanking the franchise over Microsoft Teams.

Yeah, well Tammy Faye Bakker cried a lot, too. 🤔😁

WGRZ led off with “Sabres make a MAMMOTH trade”, which escaped me upon hearing it, and I immediately thought they moved JJP to Edmonton for McDavid 😂

By February 2026, McDavid gives an interview to the Amherst Bee, speaking in a barely audible whisper about his desire to be traded.

    🤔

Ushers at KeyBank Center no longer ask for inflatable palm trees to be removed - armed security guards confiscate them. (The palm trees...not the ushers.)

I waited on Irv, he was a short man and was rather curt.

    I worked at a very popular restaurant/nightclub ‘76-‘81.

No, Irv was  really Irv.  Not Curt.

    🤔

Rick Azar, however, was really Ricardo Carballada.

    😁

You waited on Irv at Flay's on Delaware Ave?! 😇

I went to the Canadian Ballet. They took everything off. Just had to have a  scarf or leg warmers on.

For quite a few years until Ontario repealed the 'Sunday blue laws' regarding businesses opening, one could go down to the local gin mill and watch some dancer take off almost every stitch of clothing.  You could not, however, find an open hardware store to get some absolutely vital part for home repair. 🤔🙄

Chris Hogan, Duke Williams, Isaiah Hodgins, Terrell Shavers - they are all the WR's Du Jour that fans clamored for to be more involved in the offense and that they would be stars if "only given the chance".

How dare you mention this group, and omit Robert 'HoF' Foster, one of Alabama's finest WRs to ever wear a Bills uniform?! 🤨😉😁

  10. Reading this was like listening to an old Paul Harvey's 'The Rest of the Story'.

You may have got to the result you wanted, but it was torture getting there.

"And do you know who that newspaper boy was, Americans?  Who trudged through snow and rain to bring Mr. and Mrs. John Q. Public their morning news, often before sunrise?"
