One thing NFL Red Zone reaffirms for me.
There is an issue NFL wide in converting FGs. Seems every Sunday there's a run of kicks that should be hit that get shanked. I personally thing it's because teams sacrifice accuracy for power when it comes to kickers.
Bring back the traditional style kicker! 😁

Yeah, he and Don Criqui were together for a long time. I thought they were better than Enberg & Olesen ( Enberg was very biased to the west coast).
Oh, my!

I seem to remember him as a B or C team member for NBC broadcasts during the 70s, and later?

This Giants team not playing great.
Ever work in a place where the boss flies off the handle at the tiniest screw-up? Rages, rants, and screams? Now you know why the Giants are tentative.

note to self...create your own All-Geriatric NFL Roster
OL - Jackie Slater, Bruce Matthews, Jeff Van Note,
QB - Tom Brady, George Blanda, Vinny Testaverde, Steve Deberg
DL Calais Campbell, Lyle Alzado, Bruce Smith,
LB Clay Matthews Sr., Junior Seau,
WR Jerry Rice,
TE Marcedes Lewis
DB Darrell Green,
Looks like a variation of the old 'Wide World of Sports' intro. Instead of spanning the globe, it's spanning the years.
It gives rise to two categories of football players.
One is fairly recent retired players, who could conceivably contribute.
The other is for all those 'can't miss' players who indeed, did miss.

So the MAC being the MAC, UB goes to Bowling Green and gives them a beat down 28-3. 🤷♂️
Maybe most of these MAC student athletes are actually sweating academic performance? Leading to the occasional klunker of a game on the gridiron? 🤔😁

Georgia is a 4.5 fave at the end of the game. Their QB rolls out and could score easily. Takes a knee at the 1 yard line - for some thing about respect to another player.
It's not just the NBA - It's disgusting
The QB apparently got a 'Dutch Uncle' speech from coaching staff, after a late score against Auburn. By taking the knee, Florida wouldn't get the ball back, and a chance to score.

Please remember to limit Bills discussion to the relevant threads.

Chiefs flight on the way, UAL3814.
If you want to welcome them at the airport...🤨😁

I seem to remember a WR a few years back making wings a couple of days before a game, and getting hot sauce in his eyes. Google reveals nothing. It does mention a Cowboys coach having to bail on a Zoom call for a similar mishap.

I think they owe it to McDaniels to keep him until he has a top 2 or 3 qb plus 6 years. Anything less is simply impatience.
I think you owe it to McDaniel to get his name right.

Is a Russini "in on" equivalent to a Merrill Reese "Ertz is going to Buffalo"?
🤔🤨

Hey I know a team that could use a top 10 DT when healthy. The Bills.
Better draft a six pack. The Bills seem to go through a lot of them.

Not sure that Rapp was quite good last year.
He was a below average safety; biggest problem being lack of speed.
Compensated for that by increasing the physicality of his hits...no matter which team they might be playing on. 😁

Indeed, but there are too many other good spots open to deal with that mess as a first time HC.
Brady would be better off taking the Dolphins job. Especially since it sounds like, according to the LA Governor, they wont be handing out a big contract with big buyouts.
At this point, LSU will be lucky to get Paul Randolph. 🤨
(IYKYK...Google it...😁)

The defense is the polar opposite of physical. It could not possibly be any more opposite of physical
To paraphrase Douglas Adams, the defense is going to pieces (via injury) so fast, that other players are getting hit by the shrapnel. At least berserker Rapp won't be giving any more 'friendly fire' injuries.

It's the last year for Highmark. Has the grounds crew got time to paint one end zone 'CHEFS'? 🤔
-
Why do I get the impression that something like that will inevitably trip up some coach? Especially the older ones, whose 'filters' are becoming wonky. 🤔
