  1. Wow I really didn’t think that would happen. And to be honest really doesn’t make any sense for the Bucs. But hey guess you gotta make Tommy Happy.
  2. The goal is to become and maintain status of a contender. I for one think Josh will continue to grow. So yes I am taking a QB. Will supplant Barkley and develop come year 3 or 4 on the QB I flip him (provided he developed).
  3. I am going with it wont Happen but heck use the NFL for some free Marketing WWE (Vince is the King of Marketing)
  4. I would fully be on board taking a Hurts, Fromm, Eason etc if they are there in the 4th, develop them, showcase them in Preseason going into the next seasons and flip them in a heart beat. Take a QB in the 4th, flip him in a couple years for a 1st and more
  5. There are, and like most Bills players I want the good ones re-signed. Milano is one of those players, but my Cap on his value is 10M. Anything more and I think I am looking elsewhere to put that money
  6. I think he is just hanging his hat on the Farve, Rogers thing. The better comparison would have been the Patriots QB flipping mentality. Either way that is where I want the Bills getting to, easiest way to get draft assets is flipping QBs
  7. Your right it is. Meaning it will be easier and cheaper to retain.
  8. Beane has shown he knows how to squeeze agents on contracts. Did anyone here really think that Spain would be re-signed for 3 years 15M and an out year with only 1M in dad space after this year?
  9. So looking at the advanced metrics on https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MilaMa00.htm He missed tackles at a Higher Rate than Thompson and Jones. And had Similar Pass Defense Stats And Alexander I say the same to that agent I said here, that the team less than a year later wants that contract and player off their books.
  10. And isnt he on the trade block? A year after that deal Milano has a 13.7% Missed tackle rate last year Thompson was at 9.2 Jones at 10.6% Milano highest missed tackle rate was 20.4% in 2018. Milano Pass rating against 94.5, Thompson 95.2, Jones 92.3
  11. Hard to really comment on will he get there after a Rookie year, but you would hope that your 9th overall pick becomes part of your Core Not really a ranked list, just went through the roster is all
  12. It really wasnt. Look at when he missed time did they Miss a Beat? Nope
  13. Time to start getting into the QB flipping Business
  14. I will always be on record that you pick up the 5th year option as a Buffer with the hopes the player doesn't play on it. Meaning the window for the extension is year 4, either in camp or in the post season, I would not negotiate in season.. But that is me as a GM and how I would run it. And Milano was a 5th round pick that really was a tweener. Just like Safeties there are certain positions that are easy fills in McD Defense. There is Value there, me and you just disagree on what the cap of that value actually is
  15. Because it is the WLB Spot. That is the easiest position on the defense to play. All you need to have is athletic ability and you are AVG at that position. The MIKE and the SLB are more important. Mike is the ONLY one you would like to ensure he is a 3 down sideline to sideline Backer. The other two LBers spots can be specialized. IT is called POSITIONAL Value. Sam reason RBs should NEVER get big money either.
  16. And I wouldn't go to that 12M. the position just doesn't call for that. I think he will get paid. I also just don't think it will be as much as people think it will. But in my first post I have him seeing his second contract, but then also expanded that he is the odd man out if I had to make a choice.
  17. A player that did have a Bills Facetime meeting with
  18. But we have a full year, because this year isn't a real draft it is a virtual draft ?
  19. Tua he will be hurt pretty often in his career
  20. At no point have I heard or Read anything from Diggs asking to redo his contract
  21. I dont think Dawkins is a Top end LT. I would probably put him at around 15th LT, but I also think the Bills like him more than most do, but I am sure that like still has a cap and I dont think that cap would be top 5 money
  22. They also really didnt pay Davis that much. In todays money his big extension in his prime would have been 5 years 43.435M. That would be an ideal contract for Milano.
  23. I think they will wait a year for the Morse replacement, I also think they like Dawkins alot more than some on this board do
  24. OK Found it. 5 years 36.5M in 2011 Or 7.3M AAV. Yeah that sounds like a good value, so adding some inflation. (19% inflation is what the last 10 years has been in the US). An AAV for Milano would be 8,687,000 So That screams a 9M AAV, which is probably about what the Value of a Top End WLB should be
  25. It is just the same thing that happens all over with people that are set in their ways Change is scary and will cause all types of problems in their minds.
