On all of them I accept the mainstream theories, that is, no conspiracy. Aliens probably exist but I doubt they have any interest in us or have visited. I like what Trump has done. Did you read SDS's post? Read DR's behavior and don't do that. It is not like he got banned for calling someone an idiot. He got suspended and warned. Then after that, poked the bear and attacked the site and SDS, a human who happens to have started this site. Maybe that was really bad. He made his bed and he now lives with it. If you don't do those things, you're good to go. For instance, in August, DR started a topic that basically said, "This topic is to be used by the community to ***** on another member". This may not register with you, but as the admin here - it registers with me. It's a BIG deal. We have probably had 8-9 million posts in this community. This is the first time I have ever seen this done to this extreme. Raw and ugly. (This is waaaaay different than some call out post over a beef. In the message board world, this was psychotic.) It doesn't matter if you think the "other member" is annoying or that you dislike them. It doesn't matter how valuable you think DR is to a politics discussion in a Buffalo Bills community. I am the administrator for BOTH people here, as well everyone else in the community at large. I suspended him for 30 days. I was met with a childish barrage of additional accounts being registered. Completely wasting my time. When he came back I met with an instant PM pissing match between him and another member that included me. Again. Over 50 years, with a real life to attend to. DR ignores it. Then last night I get barraged with 5-6 reports from PPP. So I again stop what i am doing to look into a politics subforum in a Buffalo bills community. And there he is - calling a member an ####### 1, 2, 3, 4 times in a row. Oblivious to what happened a month ago. That member he bombed had all the appearances of just trying to talk. What am I, now having my nose shoved into another pile of his *****, supposed to do? Say others think DR is a very valuable member in a politics subforum in a Buffalo Bills community and therefore he has carte blanche to treat anyone, anywhere however he wants, whenever he wants? I can't unsee it. It was completely brazen and completely dismissive of an event we just had before. While DR was calling another member an #######, he was flipping me the middle finger. This is where I ask each of you to step back and see this through my soda straw. As an administrator, I don't care about his politics or his point of view. All that conspiracy stuff is sitting right there untouched. However, his grotesque treatment of others is actually behavior that I am forced to occasionally address. He unnecessarily takes time away from me and my life to deal with his extreme behavior. SDS also banned a serial spammer and some other junk accounts. It's astounding to me the narrative that DR is being cast as your hero in this when the guy who literally created this place went out of his way to explain (unnecessarily) what DR did to ban himself.

If this place is a cesspool, why not try to clean it up by introducing yourself. Your community here is bigger than one person. Many here prefer to namecall from behind an inhuman avatar. He reimburses me first! I never before today asked SDS to consider shutting down PPP unless you count the thread where it was openly discussed. He's not to my knowledge and as he admitted in yesterday's post, come over to this side very often.

That's not relevant to my post. I discussed shutting down PPP when the topic came up about the merits of PPP. You and others lost your mind and keep bringing it up so sometimes I respond to that. I never lobbied to have DR banned. Never reported him or any of his posts. The only post I ever reported was a spam post that got repeated over 30 times.

SDS's post exposing his humanity was revealing in reminding us who we attack when we hide behind anonymity. So I ask: Who are you? Who is the human behind your username? I'm a 50 year old man. Married to a woman I met at a party freshman year of college. I've mentioned her before but she is a hospice and home care social worker, so mostly working with those dying and at the end of their lives. I'm a father to a freshman in college, who is during her best to be a college freshman even though she's doing all her stuff remotely. It's an emotional struggle to have such a disappointing start to college after working hard to get in but she's keeping a stiff upper lip. I have lived in the same home for 20 years, run my own small business with just 4 people for the last 7, and kept it together (mostly) through Covid, though it's not been easy. My parents live in Buffalo and are still alive and mostly healthy. I have a brother who works with kids, one who is a super smart scientist, and another who is a nurse transitioning from that to running a carpentry business. I clean up the long driveway behind all 4 houses that share our driveway because that's how I was raised. I do most of the repairs in my house but generally skip the larger projects just because I can, though I've renovated everything once when I first got the house (being handy is a product of my youth). I volunteer helping kids who are stuck in "the system." Coached kids sports and was on the board of a local sports club for many years (I just threw my volunteer hours into things as best I could--mostly on the business side). I'm not asking you to say your name or anything too revealing. But let's come out a little from behind the username, build a community.

Great comparison but I also think Diggs brings leadership and swagger that the offense didn't have. The entire unit is playing at a level it didn't have last year and he's the significant new face. That's not just talent--he brought something much bigger. When I saw him in those training camp clips, giving it to a few guys but also cheering other guys on, I was hoping this is what might happen. We had this discussion here. Most here want to keep it. I think it's time to flush PPP and it's not because of something that happened in the last 3 months--when you started PPP my understanding is that it was a place for the Bills fans to talk politics. It's since become its own thing, for worse, whether it's liberal trolls, pizzagate believers, massive content retweeters and news pasters, etc. And there are so many political outlets these days.

DR posted a thousand times a day and tons of it just bully-insults that inflamed an already-bad culture. And SDS explained himself well on what DR did to deserve what he got. It wasn't because he insulted a few people.
