What's your stance Bandit? Everyone knew the trade made the Bills worse in the short term. Even I was pissed the day the trade went down, that meant we now had one of the worst WR groups in the NFL. Nothing has changed. We still do. Watkins showed his elite talent and then got injured, again. Wasn't that the concern with him? Didn't everyone already know what he could do while healthy? The new guys didn't believe in Watkins or didn't want to pay him what he wanted. It could end up being a bad trade, we knew that right? Watkins could continually get hurt and never have the impact his talent would allow. In that case they would have avoided another colossal disaster of a contract. Nothing changed last night. Maybe it just brought some folks back to the day he was traded? You are a level headed guy, Rams won the trade for 17' or more importantly the Bills lost it. Lets see where it ends up. This was going to happen.

I believe that. In fact once Rex was ran out of town I said that Watkins wouldn't be happy with it. Rex treated Sammy like a son, essentially Watkins watched his Daddy get torched by fans, media and then the organization. Watkins gets heated from twitter. It's not far fetched to think that what happened to Rex put a bad taste in Watkins mouth.

Watkins is in his 4th year, one beautiful catch isn't going to change anyone's opinion. He has the natural talent to take over the league lets see if he wants it or not. It will be intresting to see how the Rams handle the contract situation. IMO something is off with Sammy. We shall see.

After this year I think they can get out from under that deal

I hope some fans take note of the difference between year 1 Goff and him in his second year. Whichever QB the Bills draft will likely have a hard time early on doing the basics.

On a more serious note Woods looks good out there.

It's week 3, a superstar WR would be on the field, he isn't out there in a 4 wide formation.
