I’ve been paying attention. Information can be presented to paint a picture and tell a story. Remember we are in an information war and both sides are actively engaging in it. If his evidence is as damning as we think it is, it will lead to convictions. Period.

Fair points. I don’t think it needs to be made into a huge deal. It was classless and disgraceful for someone to say that. A lot of people feel that way after hearing it, and that’s the end of it. Nobody is calling for action or resignations or anything as retaliation. That kind of crap is a distraction to what Trump is getting done.

So why doesn’t Trump and the DOJ investigate that and prosecute him for treason? Can’t Fox News report on this and get it out there to the public? Why does it have to be contained to conspiracy theorists and dark-web message boards?

I agree, meetings shouldn’t be leaked and it was most likely for sabotage. But since it did happen are we supposed to pretend like it didn’t?

It was leaked to the AP by two people in the staff meeting. Anonymously but the WH didn’t dispute it. You could say they are in the deep state or maybe they just don’t agree with that kind of thinking and language coming from the supposed leaders of the free world. How hard is it not to say something like that in a staff meeting? Leaks are an issue but leaders who think and talk like that are also an issue.

That’s possible but I doubt it. You’re telling me Cohen took money from AT&T, Novartis, Russian billionaires and probably others as part of some grand scheme to root out corruption in politics? I think you’re giving Trump too much credit on this one. This is the type of stuff people called HRC corrupt for, and rightfully so.

AT&T now admits the pay to play with Cohen was a big mistake. Their chief lobbyist suddenly retired today also. I like a lot of what Trump is getting done but I don’t want to see any more corruption from his administration. Drain the swamp don’t become the swamp.

If people want to complain about how Mueller’s investigation went past collusion and on to other crimes, that is understandable and fair. Saying it has turned up nothing is an absolute lie and the indictments are proof. Let the investigation play out and we will see what happens. Trump could still be standing and getting crap done when it’s finished. Investigations and smear campaigns are not new in Washington, some people need to man up. I’m not sure you are farting enough. This is something I think about often. We know Washington is corrupt and has special rules for politicians. Say Trump brings down the establishment and gets rid of all the corrupt politicians and MIC agents. Do we trust Trump’s administration to fill these positions with competent people who are less corrupt? A government full of people like Scott Pruitt and Betsy Devos is terrifying to think about.

I believe if they find criminal wrongdoing on anyone they should prosecute and hold those people accountable. However, those articles sure do use the terms “probe” and “inquiry” a heck of a lot. Why wouldn’t they use the words criminal investigation? The Hill article only uses the word investigation in the Title, and it was from January. I will gladly admit I was wrong but it seems to be more political posturing than having any real substance or intention to prosecute. I’ll be the first one to eat crow however if Sessions actually does something.

Disassembling and shipping the parts by freight or cargo ship doesn’t seem like it would be all that expensive. It’s not a good look when our military planes fall out of the sky and kill nine people.

I have no issues with keeping things confidential until the right time, I actually would prefer that. It would just be a surprise because almost nothing has evaded being leaked in recent years. Greg better be right, and the perfect time for Republicans to drop everything would be a couple weeks right before the midterms. It would knock the Dems out of the running to win the House. It will not be good for Trump if they do win back the House.

What criminal investigations? Can you list them? Surely they would have been leaked by now.
