    Well, that's what I'm talking about ... there are precisely 4 players on this 2017 roster who played in the pre-Rex defense! I don't care how well they communicate with each other. There's absolutely nothing relevant about the fact that our defense was really good before Rex.

    And why would you think that? Even if there's nothing else changed, Dareus and Kyle are 3 years older (and Kyle will be 34), and Mario had a fantastic season (his last one) under Schwartz, so even if Shaq is very good there's no reason to think he'll be prime Mario good. And add to that that the depth is gone. This is wishful thinking, not analysis.

     

    sorry my wishful thinking doesn't stand up to your analysis but I believe coaching will play a big part of the defense getting back to form.

     

    I'm no professional here so you can just look past how I see it and may be better off critiquing a more qualified poster.

     

     

    at seasons end we will know whether my beliefs were just wishful thinking, or reality?

    We have Watkins and a bunch of 3s and 4s. No number two.

     

     

    how many picks do they have yet in this draft?

     

     

    this roster is not even set yet so rather than shut the door on the season like those who have already thrown in the towel, I'm going to leave it open a crack with the hopes they are a competitive team. be nice to see another top 10 offense with a top 5 or 10 defense to go along with it this year?

     

     

    that said, I see the streak come to an end as I feel they win 10 games and earn a wc spot...?

    We gave a fortune to a waste of a person in Dareus, so we have no cap space to find a way to keep another first round choice in Gilmore, That brings us to spend this yrs first on a CB rather than building up other weak positions. We will need a stud DT as Kyle is getting older and Dareus cannot be trusted to be available.

    We are still the hamster on the wheel.

    ..was IMMEDIATELY disqualified....no such thing as ITALIAN Affirmative Action I guess.....so now I run the financial ops for a multi-million dollar construction corporation based in Rochester and love it despite being "Eye-Talian".....shoulda sent a bag of Halite to the Georgia headhunter to pound.....racism goes WELL BEYOND skin color IMO.........BUT...I have NEVER played THAT card..............

     

    moms side was from sicily and ireland. her mother full blood sicilian, father full blood irish. they put up with the divide but that is history and many chapters long.

     

     

    I'm not all about the divide. as long as you aren't bleeding green, even then, but we bleed the same color blood. it should be more based on respect than creed/nationality/race but as I said, it will never change...

    Good news ! I believe it's only ten minutes for each pick in round 1. Can someone confirm ?

     

     

    I had looked it up a week or so ago. 15 rd 1, 10 2nd rd and remaining rounds 5 mins

     

     

    During the draft, one team is always on the clock. In round one, teams have 15 minutes to make their choice. The decision time drops to 10 minutes in the second round and to five minutes in rounds three through seven. If a team doesn't make a decision in their given time, the next team can pick before them, and the team that missed its turn can submit its selection at any time after their time is up.

    ....any idea when THIS card gets worn out and is replaced by a NEW deck?......black versus white is only ONE chapter......had a headhunter call me years ago from Georgia about a CFO job.....based on my last name, he said, "so you're one of them there Eye-Talians"...last name ending in a vowel was a dead giveaway and he did NOT know my skin color..................
