If the Bills get a couple of turnovers, the game will be competitive. We are playing the world champs, so my pick is based on foolish optimism... Bills 21 Patriots 20 I might as well blindly hope!

I think the biggest difference is that they are playing with confidence, in no small part due to McGahee. On several runs in between the tackles he hits a wall (Travis would be stopped at that point) and bounces outside for a gain. He is also dragging tackelers for extra yards. I am not slamming Travis, but I really think McGahee has helped boost confidence.

when Nance said the Jets had a let down against Buffalo (during the game they covered). He stated that Buffalo was a very good team and made several compliments about them. Sims generates some negative comments on this board, but he calls them as he sees 'em and was very upbeat about the Bills.

Jim Kelly's stats (including) sacks his last year (or 2). While everyone debates whether Drew is shot or not, I seem to remember Kelly getting sacked and having a lot rougher time his last year or two due to the demise of our offensive line. I am not stating this as gospel, so I'd appreciate any attacks being held to a minimum... I am just asking for anyone that has a better memory than me or who might be a "stat" person. I believe that this analysis will support the theory that our problem lies more with our line than Drew.

I'd like to ask him if he had any control or input on personnel issues. I am sure that Captain Ego Donahoe gave him zero input. Of course with pick-ups like Eddie Robinson, maybe he didn't earn any opportunities.

He is so full of it I can't believe it. An ex-linebacker/announcer (Millen) has done a better job of turning around a franchise than this loser! How people can continue to defend Donahoe is beyond me. He is all ego and publicity driven. If bottom line results mattered (on the field)... he'd be GONE!

He does focus on the negative. I thought it was a good point about the play calling, however.

Everything I remember hearing about him points to him being a "team first" type of player. That's something a few of our other players should pay attention to.

I didn't see the usual "bull rushes" up the middle, either. Hats off to Tucker, also.

I question his comment about Teague being our best offensive lineman. Are our lineman that bad or is he way off the mark?

No...and my assumption may be incorrect, but I believe most of the commentators do extensive tape research of prior games. Even if he does. I am not saying his opinion is right... just that I consider him to be an astute commentator (still pompous, however).

whenever there were questions raised about this team, there was a group of "experts" who made this comment everytime our "heroes" were questioned. I believe in trying to be optimistic about the Bills... but to you chosen few who ridiculed every questioning post with that response... here you go... WE'RE billsfanone!

Particularly Fletcher... he should have had a third personal called on a Brady hit. I felt the hit on Morman after he was tackled was flagrant... and ignored by the refs.

I'd prefer some answers to questions before running Drew out of town. On his interception, was it him or Moulds that blew it? His fumble looked like a "cluster f**k". Did he screw up, did Henry, where was the blocking? The last two minutes was just out of control... I don't just blame Drew. He threw a few really nice passes today. I blame penalties, especially Mr Overzealous Fletcher and Coy Wire's "play"... if we are singling people out. It makes more sense to use the old adage... "win as a team, lose as a team." Once this team and coach learns/remembers how to win, we will get better.
