You just said that all the starters in the secondary are better than him. Which I agree with, we can sign a FA or draft a guy. He is replaceable.

Using this 8-3 stat is lunacy. If you think they went 1-4 in the other games because he didn't play, I don't know what the hell you are watching.

He's been good, I'm fine with keeping him, but he isn't nearly as critical piece to this team as the 8-3 stat makes him look.

Ditto.  His replacement(s) haven't been all that bad and we don't lose games just because he doesn't play.  I hope we keep him but I'd rather spend free agency $$$$ on a stud DT or pass rushing LB.

  2. My 2nd fave team is not in the playoffs (Packers).  If the Bills don't make it to the SB then I hope the Vikes win it but wouldn't shock me if the Rams did.  The AFC will be represented by the Steelers if we don't make it there.  Pats are overrated; they should've lost the PItt game.

Right. I feel like both fan bases are saying the same exact thing about the other team. Stop the run and make the qb try and win it. Whichever team can get that done wins IMO

I agree.  TT isn't prone to making mistakes but then again he doesn't take risks either..  If Shady doesn't play, then we desperately need a run game from somewhere to compliment our conservative passing attack..  I trust our D if we keep it close.

Didn't Oakland have to beat the Chargers as well for that scenario to play out? Personally I'd rather they play Jax. They're limping in on a 2 game losing streak and are not as good as people, mainly their fans, are making out.

No, I've been playing with scenarios all week.  The Ravens didn't have to win to get in--but only if they had help from the Jags.  A four way tie at 9-7 was beneficial for us.

As much as I want to believe that .. it hinges on Shady , if he can’t go next week it’s one and done

    praying?

My thoughts exactly.  If he's healthy, then I think we stand a good chance of winning.  Jags have been playing poorly lately.  I expected them to trounce the Titans but they didn't put up much of a fight.  Did all of their starters even play?

Great move by Davis.  Drake ejection was perfect.

I get McD on not taking stupid penalties, but let’s not get pushed around.

I was shocked nobody went after Gronk after that gutless hit on White.  Those Jim Kelly led teams would NEVER have stood by and allowed it.  I can picture Talley running across the field in a rage looking for blood.

The Bills are going to the playoffs for the first time in 18 years, and a little early morning chill wasn't going to keep Buffalo from celebrating.

With the temperature at 2 degrees in the first hours of 2018, fans gathered to sing the Bills' "Shout!'' song and chant "Let's Go Buffalo!'' as they greeted the postseason-bound Bills at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Some 400 die-hards gathered to cheer the team that on Sunday ended the longest active postseason drought in North America's four major professional sports.

    I wish I could've been there.

  8. I'm not pissin on anybody's party here and Billieve you me that I'm stoked we made the playoffs but do you realize if the the Jags had won, the Ravens still would've made the postseason and we would've been the 5th seed (according the ESPN playoff machine--if you don't know what this is, google it I'm too tired it's 4 AM where I live).  I'd rather play the Chiefs as opposed to the Jags because we've already game planned against them and they are a familiar opponent.  However, like I posted elsewhere a win vs. the Jags would make up for 1996.

BTW, it's an absolute crime Poyer is not going to the Pro Bowl.  I hope he's selected when other players back out like they usually do.  Our secondary is beast--imagine where we'd be without them.  Man, I hope White wins DROY to make up for his snub as well.  Maybe it's just me but I hope we re-sign Gaines.

If this thread has already been started elsewhere MODS please delete.  I couldn't find anything mentioning this elsewhere this boards moves too quickly after a win.

In what had to be the best 5 minutes of the Bills' 21st century, Kyle Williams scores a TD and within moments - on the other TV - Joe Flacco throws a pick-6.

Of course all of that was surpassed later in the evening...

You can't possibly blame that on the QB!  The stupid WR actually fumbled it to the defense.

Um no, but this brings up a good question.   If McCoy is done, what are the rules for signing someone when in the playoffs?    Does being in the playoffs limit what they can do as compared ot the regular season?   I honestly do not know this.     I would assume that they would need to add someone even in they have faith in Murphy and Tolbert..

My thoughts exactly when I heard he was not returning to the game.  What kind of roster moves are we permitted to make if he cannot suit up?  Kudos to the OP for posting this!

  11. I don't mind Nantz, but Sims needs to be put out to pasture. He's "Captain Obvious" with his color commentary. Even Spiro and Soloman would have called a better game.

People here hate Wilcox! I like his color commentary. Collinsworth and Esiason are very good at what they do. Wow three ex-Bengals.

  12. Yup. Ejections are the only way to stop this crap. That was a clear case of lowering and leading with the crown. In college, the player is ejected.

The Stanford player was wrongly ejected for targeting as he led with his shoulder but most of they time they get it right in college - Ohio State's Bosa was a good call.

    Very good sir! I concur
