Micheal Smith and Jamel Hill are putrid I can't watch sports center because of people like these two. It's quite pathetic what ESPN has turned into.

 

The type of people they are attracting are these reactionary, low educated, faux intellectuals. While the people they are turning away are the people that enjoy sports for what they are an entertainment escape. Ratings have shown how terrible this is for ESPN in recent years but Disney keeps them afloat, apparently to push a social agenda.

 

It kind of reminds me off the media keeping the WNBA afloat, lets hope someone with a brain steps in at ESPN before it turns into something like that, or ya know one of the other major networks could do something!

without their own local paper was no good. He actually did that as a favor. While profitable I doubt he has looked at the snoozes financials in awhile. In detail anyway. the paper has zero impact on Buffetts bottom line.

He's probably wearing the coat for doing stand-ups on camera for ESPN. That's a common thing for tv news people, especially in sports. Formal up top, casual on the bottom, since the camera only shoots from the waist up. EDIT: Upon closer inspection, the back of his collar also looks like it has a wire coming up from the back of his jacket, probably part of an earpiece or microphone setup.

Besides being his usual pretentious Patriot fan self, he showed up looking like he was modeling for Lane Bryant today. Mike Rodak showed up to training camp wearing a Hillary Clinton esque shoulder pad sports coat and some banana republic boat shorts. Can I hate him more than I already do? I would much rather the two first rounders in a draft that could feature

Darnold

Allen

Rosen

Falk

Rudolph

Jackson, etc...

Nothing is a sure thing but, Darnold and Allen look so much better than anyone in this class. They read defenses and have strong arms.

If you are just mad about taking these QBS wait at least until you see them play. These are not NFL ready QBS or near a top talent the Jets or 49ers would have snatched them if that was the case. Wait and see.

Eh, this class is pretty trash in general so I don't think it is necessarly homer. Watson and mahomes are set up best but can't read a defense. Peterman can read a defense and seems like he has a career backup floor, where as these other two could be big busts. Onside ring the 1st round pick pressure. I'd say they all need a lot of luck to lead a team to a super bowl.

The defense in Houston will carry Watson. all he has to be is a decent qb for them

Can't wait until Mahomes never amounts to anything more than a backup. This QB class is so 2011 it is not even funny. Gabbert, Locker, and Ponder were all products of the hype machine. I think Watson has a chance just because he seems to play his best games in the bright lights, but the others I believe will flop.

I think you 2 don't have all the facts So I will enlighten you..

 

#1 Facts in the case show that rear passenger admitted to shoving the drugs and guns under the driver Side seat

#2 Both football players were drug tested and clean.

#3 In the article in the same paragraph it says..

"When approaching the vehicle, officers spotted a handgun on the lap of the passenger. A bag of marijuana was also observed on the driver's side floorboard. The stolen handgun was located under Robinson's seat."

 

IF the police officer actually saw the handgun on lap of passenger then game over.. the gun is in possession of passenger not the driver Cam Robinson.

the guilt was by association and nothing more.. all charges were dropped.

Obviously the drought has fried too many brains. We've just seen the most intelligent bills first round draft in decades. With two 2018 first round picks, the bills will be able to select the top quarterback available next year and embroider his name in the red carpet a week before the draft. I've read a lot of negative comments from tonight. The cup of ignorance and foolishness overfloweth.

Problem is jets are going to suck this year and get the #1 pick which will be the guy from USC who is a beast and we get stuck with who? Josh Allen?

[Football Isn't Rocket Science Just Common Sense !!]

Some of the decisions that come out of the Bills front office sometimes just don't make any sense !

 

Last year we had 2 O lineman that were at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to performance, one did great the other was one of the worst in the league !

 

But the Bills signed the worst first & are dragging their feet on the better of the 2 ??

 

Jordon Mills ranked something like 48th last year when it came to RT's in the NFL & he was THE weakest link on the Bills O line but the front office signed him almost immediately (does he have some dirt on Whaley)

 

Then on the other side of the coin is R.Groy which has been with the Bills for 2 years & when pushed into action did a great job plus his versatility trumps Mills hands down yet the Bills are dragging their feet on matching the Rams deal even given E.Wood injury past & the fact that he is in the last year of his contract .

 

Also if Whaley were to consider restructuring Wood's contract (if he can) given all that surrounds Wood (cap hit, injury history, age) they could have both lineman Wood for the last year of his contract for less money & Groy for 2 years for as much as it would cost for Wood ($7 mill + cap hit for this year) for both or slightly more than what they are paying Wood !

 

I know football isn't rocket science but why are the Bills signing all of these second tier players & a guy like this that has proven his worth to the team with his versatility Why are they taking so long to bring him back ??

 

TD Mike will be the next that they let walk because of the same type of situation ...

Things I would have done just in the last two years, tender hogan to a second, tender Mike g to a second, and tender groy to a second. I don't care if it "hurts their feelings," they understand it's a business.

 

This offseason has some pretty glaring holes I'm not sure how obvious it is to the Front Office but, you can not argue that we didn't lose talent at wr, lb, corner, and safety, and so far we signed a couple 3 4 or 5 receivers some hybrid safeties(love those pickups), a couple fbs to replace the other, and 0 help at corner(you know those guys that help us stop Tom brady).

 

Try and explain how this makes us any better going into next year, I love being a Homer, but these obvious moves are being overlooked and OP is right in questioning it.
