Just now on ESPN, Adam Schefter said an NFL personnel director told him to put it in the books that Josh Allen will be the No. 1 pick in '18
I like Josh Allen's arm talent but I don't think that'll wind up happening if some of the others come out. He would've been the first QB taken in this draft tho.
-
at least he's not on an AFC east team!
Yep! Just disappointed we didn't take a shot on him. Thought that he was a really good QB for us.
-
Let's shut up about Chad Kelly. Lol
Yea it's probably time to stop, he's a bronco. Just hope this doesn't bite us in the ass in a couple years.
-
Tebow was before him. Siemien was pretty good for a 7th rounder. Who knows how Paxton will be. I wouldn't doubt Elways drafting, at this point.
-
Kelly will at least make the practice squad if not roster.
He may be IR'd if he doesn't recover from his surgeries in time. Sucks, was hoping the Bills would give him a chance.
-
Great. Good luck elsewhere Chad. That sux.

Mason Schreck, please!!!!
Just drafted by Cinci

Vallejo was second-team all-Mountain West as sophomore, honorable mention last two seasons. Did he peak in 2014?
Oh jerry

Seahawks drafted Mike Tyson?
He's a hard hitter

Since when has mph mattered? There is so little data on the topic its statistically meaningless at the moment. And you cant say there hasnt been a QB under 55mph with success. Most of the league hasnt been measured coming out, its a very recent measurement. Most of the elite QBs in the league might have had sub 55 mph arms in college for all you know
It's been measured for nearly 10 years. That's a long time by NFL standards.
Next.
-
Watson, the 12th pick, was like 45mph.
He was 49 mph, Tyrod was 50 due to a shoulder injury.
Watson hasn't played a game in the NFL so we don't know if he will be the first QB throwing under 55 mph to find success.

I love the pick, worst case scenario , he's a career backup and obviously best case he's a franchise QB, not sure he has the arm strength to be the #1 but that's the same thing they said about Montana, Brady etc. so we'll see but they are finally at least attempting to upgrade the most important position.
Technically worst case scenario is that he is cut, or slips on a mat.
-
Cousins has a good arm. Peterman does not.
Right. As long as we cool with our 5th round pick being a backup (like most 5th rounders) it's an ok pick. Upside is just limited.
-
I wish Chad the best, but he's a G.D. headcase and coming to Buffalo would have been the worst possible thing for him and his career.
If his name was Chad Jones, fans would have no interest in bringing him in. You're all in love with the name, not the tape.
You do know that some people have seen Kelly play and prefer him because of what we have seen. Not all fans are so fickle as you are describing.

The new Jeff Tuel?
The only undrafted rookie QB to ever start a game in the NFL! What a great year lolol
-
What will you say is Chad isn't drafted by anyone?
See Chad at camp! 😄
-
You're the bum. I watched this guy come down here to Clemson and beat the national champs this year in death valley. The guy can play.
Clemson almost lost to NC State the week before. Peterman played efficiently but beating a good team doesn't make a player. If he is a reliable backup, that's good.
-
Threw 53 mph at the combine. Not very good at Tennessee but got better in Pitt. If he amounts to anything more than a backup, I'll be very, very surprised.
5th round pick so it is whatever. Get Cardale out of here if he looks like crap again in camp.
-
Yuck Peterman is no good
-
It's a 5th round pick so not a big deal. I don't think he is big enough or fast enough to stick but we will see
-
Yeah, the guy wearing the $4,000 suit is not gonna wipe a booger on the girl that hasn't made that much her entire life, COME ON!
-
What about LB, Blair Brown, Ohio???
Could be good a possibility at WLB
Drafted by JAX
-
Thought higher of Coughlin and Marrone.
Seriously. And WR is one position JAX is ok at.
-
A degenerate. No mixing words there.
It sounds like it may not be far off. Guy sounds like bad news....and I'm not a person to get concerned about every character issue.
UDFA Thread Time!

Small guy but jumped out of the gym at his pro day:
Marcus Sayles impressed in the weight room with a 40-in vertical jump, and an 11-foot broad jump. On the field, Sayles continued to impress as he clocked a 4.49 time in the 40-yard dash and impressed the scouts in drills
