  1. Thats the game that 100 of us NYC Backers are heading to OP for the game.
  2. I remember my fiance forwarding me an email saying that Bush is trying to start a mandatory draft of all Americans between 18-26. I'm 25, so she was all nervous. The email was supposed to turn that age group against Bush Well well well...look who's responcible: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,134546,00.html The bills have lain dormant for nearly two years, but e-mails widely circulated on college campuses, which claimed that the Bush administration was trying to secretly revive the draft, prompted House Republicans to quash the issue by calling for a vote. "Clearly these bills are filed not by Republicans, not on behalf of the administration, but by those who are being partisan Democrats about this and trying to scare people," said Sen. John Cornyn (search), R-Texas.
  3. Sitting there watching the game. The Yankees pitching (defense) was doing a great job, whereas the Yankee batting (offense) couldn't come through and make the big plays. I went to the game to get away from football, but I could have sworn I was watching the Bills play!
  4. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. But I agree that we should never stoop to that level. They guy was a civilian for crying out loud.
  5. All you have to know is they use a small knife, the execution is over a minute long, and he's alive most of it.
  6. Has anybody else seen this? and HEARD it? My brother was living in Europe when 9-11 happened. He said everybody over there thought that the US was going to lose its mind and nuke the entire Mid-East. After seeing this video..now I see why.
  7. I just saw the video of the Armstrong beheading. It was the most merci-LESS thing I have ever witnessed. These terrorists are animals. Working at a hospital, I've seen some things that churned my stomach, but this is the worst thing I've ever seen and is still sending chills up my back. Words can't express the inhumanity of it.
  8. Was it just me or was there no Blair Witch? The tent scene and the end of the movie should be on there.
  9. I remember once towards the end of one of the seasons, we had the same record as the Jets but we would win the tie-breaker. Still, they had the Jets ranked higher than us. The NYC media is the worst sports media on the planet.
  10. Spoke to a lot of fans on Sunday heading to the Baltimore game. Told them I'd give them info about your tailgate the week before the game.
  11. Clown under the bed in Polterguiest takes the cake for me.
  12. Just wanted to start an official thread for the tailgate. Last year we had over 200 Bills fans there and from a plane you could probably see the row of red, white, and blue amongst all that green considering that we took up an entire ROW of the lot. Due to the new NFL tailgating rules, we're going to meet in Lot 16C at noon. We have a free round-trip bus going from the city to the game. We will have 4 kegs of Labatt Blue with a simple ice/bucket/tap setup to ensure quick pouring. We'll have lots of grill space available. I have a member trying to sell one ticket for $95 on the lower level next to a Bills fan for this SOLD-OUT game, which if you look on ebay, is a cheap price! We're going to have Michael Bly, an up and coming musician from Buffalo performing and taking requests. Also, here is what Kenny "Pinto Ron" emailed me last week: "I am not receiving the new van for 4 more weeks, but given that I have the current one running a lot better, I am going to take a chance and bring it to the Jets game. It has 252,000 miles on it, what is 700 more? It will be essentially packed with everything that is normally found at the pinto tailgate minus the pinto itself. The van has an awning, and in the event of rain I have 4 canopies available. The bar will be there, along with 8 bar stools. I can supply some tables and a large grill. If it looks like it will be cold, I can have firewood available with a wood stove and a "mini" burn barrow (I don't know how far we can push them at Giants Stadium)." Please PM or email me (mattk@nycbbb.com) for details or if you are interested in the ticket. Link to some pictures of LAST year's tailgate: http://www.nycbbb.com/pics/jets03e.shtml
  13. The success of the 90's was the result of Bill Polian.
  14. I have to say 4th downs aren't as depressing anymore with Moorman. Its like when Babe Ruth use to come up to bat, you knew something cool was going to happen. Everybody at McFaddens was chanting "MVP, MVP,MVP" every time he made a play
  15. If Jerry Jones was our owner, we'd be in LA by now
  16. Ever since his ridiculous article about trading Henry, his stories have been pretty accurate...we're 0-3.
  17. Do what I do. Drink as much as possible before the game and don't wear Bills clothes. This prevents Jests fans from giving you crap, and you black out the game.
  18. Let's be honest here Sue, the only "unorganized" part of the tailgate was that the CO2 tank for the beer was empty....which was a mistake. We had a charter bus go from McFaddens that carried 50 Bills fans to the game, a 6 ft hero, 3 kegs of Labatt Blue, Sahlens Hot Dogs and over 200 Bills fans in one section of the parking lot. I personally found over 30 tickets for Bills fans, including yours. Bills fans brought grills and all were happy to share grill space. How much of the costs of the tailgate went to Bills fans? NONE. McFadden's paid for everything. You are the only complaint I have ever received about the tailgate and we are expecting an even bigger crowd this year. We have been hard at work planning this year's tailgate. We have 4 kegs of Blue/Molson this year with the standard tap/ice setup to make life easier. We have Michael Bly, an up-and-coming musician from Buffalo performing. We again have a party bus going from the City to the game FREE OF CHARGE for our fans. Kenny is bringing a bar and grill for use of all the fans. Matt and I work our butts off to put this stuff together. We just ask that people bring their own food and tables...and we supply the beer which this year I guarentee won't be a problem, especially with 4 FREE kegs. If you want to setup another tailgate with a few Bills fans...fine. But don't trash ours that Matt and I work hard to put together that hundreds of Bills fans go to and have an amazing time at.
  19. I was swimming around in my daddy's testicle.
  20. I HATE to say it, but the NFL is right. I totally respect what Jake Plummer is doing. When I graduated from High School, I attended the funeral of a close friend who died of cancer that morning. I had his initials taped on my cap, and I was told by the principal that I had to remove it as nobody was allowed to have anything on their gowns. I looked at him with tears in my eyes and said "That really f-ing sucks"...instead of scolding me he said, "you know Matt, I agree, but its a rule and we have to follow it. If we break it for you, we have to break it for everybody" I understand Plummer is upset and wants to tribute his friend, but rules are rules and if they break them for him, you're going to see all the other players break the rules with tributes and other things putting themselves above the game. Personally, I think every player in the NFL should wear a 40 for the entire season. Tillman deserves that.
  21. Was watching South Park last night and 3, count them, 3 comercials appeared for Farenheit 9-11's DVD release.
