He looked darn good in his one start against the Steelers and some of the throws he made in the other PS games were outstanding regardless of who was on the field in opposition.

Me, too. But the thing that was encouraging was that he was consistent, and his throws were excellent. Just perfect 99% of the time. He didn't look that good previously.
All that said I did like what I saw when EJ played. Fingers and toes crossed.

My only thought about Ej's performance in pre-season is he may not have been facing the best defenders and defensive schemes making him look vastly improved. I hope that is not the case and he does in fact play well. I was expecting a tough game this week even with TT at the helm. Now I just have my fingers crossed and hope EJ is true to his word and will let it fly! Go Bills!!

This board is funny. After a week in which the Bills dominated the second half but shot themselves in the foot or else they'd be 3-1, suddenly Rex doesn't know how to use his defensive personnel, Roman's game plans are crappy, and the Bills will get shredded by a rookie QB and lose to one of the worst teams in the league. Got it.

My prediction is anxiety, fatigue and despair followed by exhaustion. For me as I watch the game...... Bills are a tough mistress.

Look at where we stack up at this point in the season. Teams will win games they should lose and lose games they should win. I wanted to jump after yesterday's debacle but these standings gave me some perspective. It is a long season and I believe they will figure it out. Go Bills!

We saw what happened when CJ tried to play on that high ankle sprain and puttered through the season. Better to heal up and play 100%.

Would love to have them on the field. That said who ever RR puts on the field as the number 1 and 2 WR will draw Prince and DRC. As long as they run the routes that they are suppose to the TE and Slot receiver will have a field day. As for RB Karlos and Boobie will also fit the scheme well. Big day for Hogan, Woods and Dixon. IMO

I'm sure Roman can take a HC job and still "honor his contract", as I'm fairly certain his contract has an out for a HC job. And while it isn't obvious to many, Marrone also "honored his contract" as his contract allowed him to opt out.
All I'm saying is a head coaching job may not be worth it as it can lessen your value in the league. Although DM technically honored his contract the way he left spoke volumes to the league. If it wasn't for his buddy giving him a job he would be coaching outside of the NFL.

Ask Doogie Moron being a HC may not be all that it is cracked up to be. (Even with a 4 million dollar parachute). I think DM's reputation has taken a huge hit in the eyes of players and management. Maybe Roman's aspirations following a strong year with the Bills will be to return, honor his contract and bring us a championship.

Agreed. The giants could easily be 3-0 as well if it wasn't for some ridiculous time management that coast them in weeks 1 and 2. Underrated team I think
Double agreed - GMen beating both Atlanta and Cowboys. Something to think about.
Be wary, not over confident because we beat a bad Miami team and a bad Colts team. This will definitely be a test.

No, my biggest concerns are things going on in this world that affect me. Football games don't affect me therefor there is no need for me to be concerned. Do I root and want the Bills to win, yeah but to be "concerned", no. Some people take sports way too seriously.

the Billsy-est game this year so far was KC-Denver on TNF. Chefs have game won and just need to kneel it out, and fumble into a Denver TD.
Would have knelt to go to OT.What made it the Billy-est game was they were up 14 with 21/2 min in first half and let KC score two quick to goto half time tied. Then up 7 with 21/2 to go in game gave up another 14 to lose. Reeked of a Bills debacle. Still was glad to see it after the gift Bryce gave them last year!

i still think some of the penalties on Buffalo were BS. The one on Dixon when he almost blocked the punt, etc.
Agreed! What about Sammy's OPI? Pure crap his cut was so precise defender fell down.

BB's arrogance allowed the Bills to get back in the game. Going for it on fourth down instead of taking field goals. Throwing instead of running the ball and the clock. BB wanted to make a statement with a huge blowout and it backfired. If he was smarter
NE* would have won by 20 plus.
That said I'm glad it happened and I don't think BB or their defense was happy with letting any team score three TDs in the fourth and get back in the game. In the the end I think BB thinks about that and not the win and kicks himself.

I think we have to be careful along these lines. There are a few games this season that we might have started taking lightly such as jacksonville in London, I think this Patriots game brought us back to reality a bit. Every game is it's own match up.

This clip shows BB's football knowledge and class. Although, I know he's kicking himself for allowing himself to be arrogant and trying to run up the score instead of kicking FG and running ball allowing the Bills to score three TDs in the 4th. \
