  1. I'm sorry. I realize I don't post much here. But I've been visiting this site for more than 10 years. I love reading Bills related conversation.

But why do people like you even start topics like this? Constructive criticism is one thing, but nagging, whining, and b!t@hing before the game is even played? Is negativity and pessimism so fused to your core that you can't even look forward to a Bills game?

Be honest, you're not looking forward to the game, you're looking forward to the Bills losing so that you can come back here and take some kind of pride in predicting the disaster of a loss. Because after two games into the season, you've already decided you don't like this failure of a team.

There are so many great, intelligent posters here at twobillsdrive. Even when they disagree they usually speak with intelligence and the debate is terrific. You're not at their level.

My rant is over, the mic has been dropped.

  2. Patriots fans are acting like this is a conspiracy between the NFL, ESPN, and SI. They are pretending that the story is filled with made up stories. Consider this for a moment. The cameramen, allegedly, were in disguise (hiding the fact that they worked for the Patriots). I think this bothered me the most.

First, this shows that the Pats knew that it was against the rules. Why hide what you're doing if everything is copacetic? There is no need to hide who you are if you're following the rules.

Second, if this were false information the Pats could lose revenue due to negative publicity and would seem to have grounds to sue for libel. If this is all false, the Pats would sue. Do you think Kraft wouldn't sue (or at least threaten to sue)?

They cheated. They know they cheated. Their fans know they cheated.

  3. Funny, over the past several years during the preseason I would say to myself, "The offense looks fit for the morgue...but it's just preseason so keep your head up."

After today's preseason game I'm saying, "Hey the offense looked alive...but it's a preseason game so keep things on an even keel."

After years of being disappointed I want to keep myself emotionally balanced, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't encouraged after today's game. Did they light it up? No, but they looked like an NFL offense for a change. With our defense that's enough.

  4. I enjoy these videos with prospective NFL QBs. I remember watching the clip of Mariucci sitting down with Matt Barkley. Prior to this video, I liked Barkley's game and thought it translated well to the NFL. After watching the video, I wanted the Bills to have nothing to do with him. To me, he clearly didn't have the mental capability to QB in the pros.

Mariucci gave him a simple mental QB task that I was able to complete...and I'm no QB. It seems like a small thing, but to me it revealed so much. NFL quarterbacks must have football smarts. He didn't have it.

  5. This team is stacked with talent all over the field. Just imagine if we had a decent quarterback. In my opinion, the season will hinge on Greg Roman. Our OC is the key to this season.

Our D will be good/great. Our special teams will be bringing back our aces (Easley, Dixon, Graham, and Money Carpenter). Can Roman get decent QB play? Can he get production out of McCoy, Watkins, Harvin, Clay, and Woods?

Yes our QB will be holding our team back; it's up to Roman to find a way to put up points.

  6. The word on Roman is that he is a very intelligent, innovative football mind. Now take a look at the talent we're accumulating on offense. It seems that Roman, who likes a running game, has a lot of options. Maybe he has something new in mind.

We have a great running back in McCoy. A WR who excels at the end-around and reverse (Harvin). Bubble screen master Watkins. And two quarterbacks who have wheels in EJ and Tyrod.

I'm not a brilliant football mind, but I can see potential here to keep a defense off balance.

  7. According to John Clayton, the Redskins will take Mariota if he falls to #5.

I know how many of you here wanted RGIII and/or Cousins. I'm guessing one of these two QBs might be available after the draft.

I'm not saying I'd want either of the two, but I'm intrigued by Cousins.
