  1. Wait a minute, as a Bills fan, why don't you hate the Cowboys more than the Packers? I know I do, hands down.

    No kidding

    Jan 31, 1993 Cowboys 52 - Bills 17

    Jan 30, 1994 Cowboys 30 - Bills 13

I can handle Atlanta or Green Bay winning. I'll be annoyed if the Steelers win it and physically ill (due to drink) if NE wins.

  2. If you like a good, slow moving, British comedy check out seasons 1 & 2 of 'Detectorists' - The lives of two eccentric metal detectorists, who spend their days plodding along ploughed tracks and open fields, hoping to disturb the tedium by unearthing the fortune of a lifetime.

Mackenzie Crook - Pirates of the Caribbean, The Office (original), The Brothers Grimm

  3. I'm 4 or 5 cars up from the ketchup and mustard every home game, have been for ages. I've seen the ceremony enough that I don't really watch it anymore, instead I watch the people around it. It's fun to watch the reactions, people get excited, cellphones are out taking pictures, people want photos with Kenny, the crowd cheers. Fans that may only make it to a handful of Bills games in their lives make a point of being there for ketchup.

There is a story behind it, Kenny's told me a few times, but I'm not great with remembering fine details so I'll leave the story telling to someone else.

  4. According to Wiki

'If a player has a legitimate long-term injury, his cap hit is still counted; however, the team is permitted to replace him with one or more players whose combined salary is equal to (or less than) that of the injured player, even if the additional players would put the team over the salary cap. If the team's cap room is larger than the injured player's cap hit, they may take on as much as their cap room; however, the injured player may not return to play until the team is again compliant with the original cap.'

So if Tyrod is severely injured in the next 3 games, never plays again, gets his money then

An insurer probably pays him, in 2017 the Bills can use the $16 million cap hit and 2018 the $17 million cap hit to sign someone else.

I don't claim to understand this stuff, but if this is the case the risk of playing Tyrod does not seem too bad.

** so the $27 million being thrown around is his guaranteed money for the next 2 years ** I think?

  5. Looking at our future home opponents for 2017 and I think season ticket sales will be okay. 2017 offers a few teams that opposing fans will want to see and Bills fans don't get a lot of chances to see (especially if you include preseason) 2018 will be full blown mayday mayday mayday - to me 2018 just looks ugly for sexy value

    2017

    Denver

    Oakland

    New Orleans

    Tampa Bay

    2018

    Jacksonville

    Tennessee

    Chicago

    Detroit

  6. I like this article on the NFL site - rankings and SuperBowl likelihood. We're at 12 - Fire everyone!

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000748364/article/nfl-power-rankings-week-13-oakland-raiders-enter-top-three

Such an important win for the Bills on Sunday. At 6-5, they are still a game back in the wild-card race. Yet, two of the teams they trail are certainly vulnerable. The 7-4 Broncos still have games remaining against the Patriots, Chiefs and Raiders. The Dolphins are the weakest team in the NFL with seven wins or more. Buffalo will host Adam Gase's upstarts at New Era Field on Christmas Eve. Then Rex Ryan's outfit closes out the season in, of all places, MetLife Stadium against those lovable Jets. #footballisfamily

  7. Uber destroys the taxi business everywhere they are. I was in NF, ON for Pats weekend and my friends and I used Uber all night. So convenient and cheap compared to taxi fares. But we could see taxis cluster unused outside of bars while people climbed into Ubers. Can't help to feel bad for people just trying to earn a living.

You know the Uber drivers are just trying to make a living too, right?

  8. It's hilarious the double standards people have here. Did you call Incognito a thug, when he was a multiple winner of dirtiest player in the NFL? Or how about Brandon Spikes, when he took numerous cheap shots on Bills?

Blame the refs for being idiots. Sherman is far from my favorite player but there are plenty of other players who are far worse.

And sadly, he comes off looking much better with his response to her tweet.

Exactly! Sherman f'd up. So what. There's a penalty for what he did in the NFL. The refs didn't call it right and then compounded the problem by standing over the football so we couldn't snap it. Blame the refs.
