  1. Call me crazy, but I thought the Bills were missing a few starters in those last 3 wins as well? The write ups make it sound like only our opponents are missing players. Either way they have us listed about where we belong in the middle. I doubt getting to 5 - 2 will cause much of a ripple either (if we get there).

  2. I get what you're saying - to a point. But you know how long it's been since we swept the season series with the Pats***?

1999, that's when. Even an otherwise wrecked season would have a certain - and not insignificant - reason to gloat. Reminds me of the days when a victory over the Phins was a great, great good feeling.

Again, learning from the Pats fans advice of that day - I just want playoffs - sweeping the Pats means little to me without a Bills playoff appearance attached to it.

  3. 1 - The season is still young

2 - The Bills fired the Offensive Coordinator after week 2, maybe time management was a problem they knew needed fixing?

3 - Tyrod is still a learning QB

4 - I'm glad LA didn't get the ball back with time on the clock, AND we came away with points

I was in the "season's over" camp after week 2, I'm walking on sunshine right now and I want to enjoy it for another week.

  4. We've interviewed Ned Hollowell a couple of times, he's a great go to guy for support , so Dareus is in good hands http://www.drhallowell.com/

One of the things we tell people who don't understand ADHD or think that the symptoms are things everyone has and are common is this - Many of these 'Symptoms' are common human behaviors. With ADHD they occur often, and they impair you. PLUS: ADHD is ongoing, perhaps lifelong, not, "Ever since my marriage ended I've been edgy." PLUS: ADHD is impairing in multiple areas of your life, not just, "I get agitated and scattered when my mother-in-law visits me."

I do social media for an independent ADHD support site (no pharma funding - no government money)

  5. I work for a non pharma/ non government funded ADHD support site. Ned Hollowell is well respected in the field of ADHD treatment and marijuana is probably second only to extreme caffeine consumption as a way of self medicating to treat ADHD. Sounds like Dareus has taken some positive steps in dealing with his issues. I take this article as a big positive.

  6. Best 1982 Police Picnic, CNE Toronto, The Police, Talking Heads, English Beat, Joan Jett, among others. I was 16 and had crap seats. Went with my brothers friends and they said 'stick close to us and do what we do'. We got up to the rail, jumped on the field and ran like hell for the crowd. Security didn't look much for us and we spent the show about 50ft from the stage. Great memories.

Worst - Cabaret Voltaire, Concert Hall, Toronto 1985ish. Basically had tape machines on stage playing their music and the crowd stood around trying to look cool. wtf was the point of that was what I asked myself on the way out.

  7. On a similar subject - I don't play video games but I want to play some Madden (I'm 49 fwiw). As long as I don't care what year of Madden I play (say 2013 version or more recent) is there any value in buying an older system and the corresponding Madden? I see some older games/units going for $50 and wonder if it's worth it or if I'm wasting my money.

  8. If it happened on a Samsung the stadium might have shut you down so you didn't start a fire :P

My guess is the Stadium's captive portal needs tweaking.

Long story short you aren't connected to the Internet at the stadium. You are connected to the captive portal. All traffic from you to the internet is funneled thru the portal and your return traffic is funneled back thru the portal.

You asked your web browser to connect to Google

You actually connected to the portal

Your device recognizes this is not Google and rejects the traffic

Thanks for the quick answer! Sounds like there's not much I can do from my end (other than buy a new phone).

  9. If I was in your shoes I would consider springing for 2 club tickets and sit in one of the clubs. Buffalo must be one of the cheapest cities for club seats and right now there are club seats on StubHub as low as $219. That price might come down a bit, but it's close to what the STH paid for it, so there's no great markup. Overhead heaters, dedicated indoor lounge. If I was bringing my wife I would rather pay the $80 more per ticket over what the lower bowl are going for and get me into a club. There will be no atmosphere in there, but it's warm and comfy and usually a safe place to be. The stadium will be 2/3 Steelers fans.

  10. i know every team deals with injuries, but we are down 2 very important pieces(Dareus & Lawson), our 2 top tiered draft picks are injured, teams need time to heal those wounds, and training camp just doesn't cut it, I hate to throw out 4 games, but once Dareus is back i think we will see a marked improvement(not saying he's superman, but he is a very very important part of this overall scheme)

Not to mention a pretty damn good looking rookie RB named Karlos Williams who ... I don't even know what to say he did - threw in the towel? That's a lot of pieces of the puzzle that should have been here and aren't and aren't Rex's fault.

  11. 1. The Cowboys Monday Night game was the craziest I've seen the Ralph. One and only time I got so excited I jumped up, got pushed by the celebrating crowd and landed on my back in the next row.

    2. Chargers game when the power went out. Played the bulk of the rest of the game with no power.

    3. The wind game (Giants?) when the posts had to be held down with rope to pull them straight.

    4. The day my first ever season tickets arrived at the house (I miss real tickets :-( )
