he strikes me as the Peyton manning of their team. He decides where he wants to line up on defense and generally does whatever the heck he wants.
I guess it depends on how bad of a break and all of that, but I wouldnt think that he would be effective doing things like grabbing people and pushing. Mario was ineffective for a good 1/2 season when he had a hand/wrist injury. I remember him saying how even a small injury in the hand can really affect your game on the dline.

A few extra doses of HGH for JJ this week and he'll be right as rain.
My first thought too. Youd think doctors wouldnt clear someone who breaks a bone a couple days before a game, regardless of who it is.

Im pretty sure that 4merper4mer already told us in week 1 that the Dallas game would be a good one to lose.
Not sure why its such a surprise to everyone.

I honestly wouldn't have graded out Mario any better than a "C". He's not getting pressure on quarterbacks, period.
He's also not sealing the end like he has the past 2 seasons. He was automatic in that regard, even when he wasnt getting pressure. Not so much this year, IMO.

Are our LBs really that bad? Rex just praised Spencer for his game last week, and I thought we all like Brown. Isn't that just one LB spot that is bad right now?
He kind of praised Lawson. He said that he played every position on the field Sunday.
And thats how I view Lawson, too. He's a smart, utility player for the LBs and DLine. He's pretty solid but, when hes forced to make an instinctive play or athletic play, he seems to come up short.
He'd be a great rotational player but as a starter, I think he lacks playmaking ability.

Murray had a great season, but I feel like quite a few backs would have had a great season behind the line they had last year.
There were times that the line simply dominated games for Dallas.
DM would be 8 yds deep before being touched.
Philly just isnt the place for him. Chip's offense calls for elusiveness, which isnt DMs strong suit. He was spoiled last year, IMO.

Easley is part of the "good hands" team?? Ironic for a drafted WR who couldn't play WR.
Not to mention a guy with a bad heart, on a play where he may have to fight for something.

At least this is better than the guy who fell in the creek or the one who fell off the second level last year. Even our drunken shenanigans have improved this year.

The ball seems to be bouncing Carolinas way for sure. Ive watched a handful of their games this year and they make big plays at the right time. They also make zero mistakes, it seems.
In the past, they've been a paper tiger and had the benefit of a weak schedule or division, but this year, theyre for real.
I expect to see them representing the NFC in the super bowl this year.

Thats a big question. Hopefully theyve been working on these types of plays this week because beyond Watt, Houston doesnt have alot of other weapons. But he's a guy that can take over a game if he gets going.
