  1. Honestly i don't get the concerns people would have about this defense. this board seems to look at Rex and think 3/4. that's not the case. Rex runs a multiple front defense. he will put his best players on the field and rely on their strengths and adjust aggressively. in my oppinion, the reason he ran a 3/4 so much in NYJ and the Ravens was due to his personnel. we have enough personnel AND depth to put together a top Defense regardless of front
  2. A- when its come to bringing talent and an identity to this team, I think he's been one of the best in the league. Only decisions that I really question is drafting EJ (which very well could have been his predecessor) and Kujo. But in all fairness is way to early to tell on either. He hasn't really been given the option of snagging a solid qb up to this point so I can't really complain about that either. So what has he done? Given us a top 5 defense. Given us our first winning record in a decade. And assembled what is (at least on paper) a potentially explosive offense.
  3. My opinion is that the guy is a baller and would love to see him compete on this team. That being said, he was a late round pick for a reason: bad footwork. The guy jumps around the pocket, and tends to be a little careless with his throws depending on his arm talent. Don't see him realistically progressing past jake Locker. His high I would say is prolly cutler.but don't get me wrong. I want to root for the guy
  4. This is a good problem to have. All of these players mentioned being young, first contract players is a tribute to our scouting and draft departments. It only becomes a problem when those departments stop delivering. If We retain our key players and some role players along with continuing with our good drafts, i don't see a problem here.
  5. I feel like a lot of you have short memories with some of these former bills. Not sure if someone's already mentioned it, but during his later time in buffalo, coaches were saying he wasn't hitting the right holes. Now I'm sorry, that's a preporation issue, which is a direct result of lack of effort. He didn't want to be here which is one reason his trade value was so low (outside of a crowded backfield). I honestly think we got what we could and cut ties with a player who wasn't moving in the teams direction.
  6. My only question on the play is who gets the credit for the safety?
  7. I don't think its even close. JP and v. Young are easily the most talented on the list. Are any of us really going to debate that? And out of those two I'd go jp. personally I never thought jp had his fair shot. I still think if you gave that guy a o line, things might get interesting. But hey, we still don't got an o line so not sure anything would be different.
  8. I would actually support a Brady Quinn signing.just to see how he looks in camp.
  9. I actually still do believe in ej. Maybe its because I'm $130 invested in a jersey but still. I look at him as a mcNabb/Culpepper project qb. However... I don't want this pitiful offensive coaching staff to have any further part in his developement. As a fan, I want him on the bench so he doesn't regress the way we watched JP regress under Jaron/Fairchild in 07.
  10. I like many of you, agree with the incompetence of our current coaching staff. However personally I'm still an EJ fan. (Prematurely invested in a jersey). I still believe EJ has huge potential in this league. I look at him as a McNabb or Culpepper project. That being said, I don't want this staff to play a part in his development. I say we keep him on the bench to protect him from our atrocious offensive coaching.
