Zay Jones is not better than Robert Woods. Johnathon Williams is not better than Mike Gillislee. Other than taht we have the same offensive personnel. Tyrod is who he is. A run first QB who doesnt do enough in the redzone with his feet like say Cam Newton does. Russell Wilson plays with just as worse of an OL and a pretty much no name WR core. What makes him different than Tyrod? Hmmm,,,He actually sees the field and can make throws consistantly. Cant even come up with 3 games Tyrod performed well in? Sol blame it pon pot and bow out? Tyrod followed EJ. EJ,,,that guy who showed signs of talent but had the propensity for the big mistake that costs you games. Tyrod doesnt do that. EJ also never had the support of the best run game in football. Tyrod is not all that. Hes just better than what most of you have seen. Unless you watch 28 other teams around the league on a weekly basis Tyrod is a poor mans Russel Wilson. Need to build a superior team in order to win. Not sure what the love affair with Tyrod is all about. Stop looking at his lack of interceptions thrown and just watch the game. He struggles to do the simple things. With an occasional long ball. He throws 1 TD per game and less than 200 yds. He gains 40 yds per game with his feet. He does nothing special in the red zone. He is not Cam Newton. Is he adequate? Sure. Not gonna win big games in this league tho.

It starts at the QB position. The NFL demands it. It protects them to no end. Tyrod is no where near on the level as the elite QBs in this league. And you can not win with out one. Its gonna be a long year.

That QB had little to do with our offense. Passing the ball is a struggle. Things arent gonna change soon. Besides Shady slowing down,,,already signs there,,,,You know,,the guy who makes the offense go. Its not a lost cause that we dont have a QB prospect,,,its a lost cause due to the fact that we arent gaining ground in the division. We are still losing it to the patriots. Its gonna be a long year. The draft picks we made,,,just replaced players that departed. How is that helping? Fans just dont want to hear that. But nearly EVERY game is a monumental struggle to do the simple things. Throwing the ball! In a predominately passing league. I just dont get the love affair with Tyrod. He is mediocre at best But lets keep BILLIEVING!!! SMH,,,,we arent getting better as a team. The patriots are. By taking our quality players. The ones they can afford even tho they have a championship formula in place already. meanwhile ,,,we had a nice draft. But in reality,,,,we just replaced veteran players that have departed and replaced them with green rookies. How can any fan actually think this team will be better next year?

Whaley needs to be fired. We are just treading water. Replacing departing free agents with upcoming draft picks is not gonna get us anywhere. Cant honestly say we are a better team by letting Gilmore walk and adding White. We could have used that pick on an actual need. But since Gilmore is too expensive the drafting of CB is the right move. So 5 years from now when White wants top dollar its back to square 1 again?

Maybe 4 years from now when these guys drafted today are looking to be renewed we can do that and add more to the roster in that years subsequent draft. Make sense? We need to manage the cap much better. So we can afford to keep those guys. Where is all the money tied up on a team that is not playoff ready? Gonna be a few more years at least.

Exactly. Nice move to nab an extra pick but all we did was trade Gilmore for White. This is not helping us one bit. Its called treading water. Expect more of the same tonight in regards to replacing players that walked. Woods and Gillislee. When in all actuality it should have been the QB to go and we keep our true contributers and draft a QB at 10. Now the Patriots have just improved quite a bit on both sides of the ball with Gilmpore and Gillislee. Hogan wasnt enough last year smh. Whatever. Whats new about this offense? We lost Gillislee and Woods. We are gonna find better replacements in the draft tonight and tomorrow?

Making the trade and moving down and gaining an extra pick this year and next is good. But all we have done is replaced Gilmore with White and it cost us our 1st rd pick to do so. Whats next,,,a running back to replace Gillislee and a WR to replace Woods. We had/have other holes that need filling besides just replacing left players. Anyone who says this team will be improved from previous years is not being very logical. But hey,,,at least we kept a mediocre QB while doing so let 2 quality players go to the arch enemy. Who keep getting better and more talent on their roster. Why not tender Gillislee at the 2.8 million offer and that would have required a 2nd rd pick in compensation. Who ever is guiding this ship needs to be fired. Until we start keeping players that we draft after their initial contracts are up,,,the merry go round of mediocrity will continue.
