Hamlin almost dies and the first thing he wants to know when he regains consciousness is: Did we win?

This should be our rallying cry for the rest of the season.   If someone puts this on a tee, I’m buying it.

I hope and pray the team gives Damar a series of positive responses!

Just wait, you will be receiving an email from Store716.com anytime now.  And I'm buying one!

Caveat - I am not affiliated with the store but get an email from them at least twice a week since I bought a Josh potato shirt earlier this year.

I'll just put out here from personal experience - the adage "a lie (or misunderstanding, or misinformation) travels around the world before truth has a chance to put on her shoes" applies in emergency medicine as elsewhere.

Doctors and nurses who are focused on saving a patient's life are understandably not the best communicators to relatives.  One layperson relative is not the best communicator to another relative.  In situations where someone close to me has required emergency care, I've been told things by an LPN relative that didn't make sense, and then received different information when I had a chance to speak to the physician.

It's not deliberate, it's just the old "game of telephone" where things get altered as they're passed along.

My family and I experienced this first hand during the experience with my father that I relayed last night.  We received different messaging from the Neurologist and "head ER doctor" (in quotes because I don't know the proper terminology).  They actually went into a room and we could hear them yelling at each other before they came out and provided an update.

  3. This event hit very close to home for me as my father died from complications from sudden cardiac arrest over a decade ago.  He was exercising in a gym at a private club with no AED device available and one other person present when he had his "massive heart attack", which is how sudden cardiac arrest is often described.  Paramedics did not arrive on the scene for 20+ minutes, at which point they were able to resuscitate him.  He was in the ICU for almost 4 days and underwent many, if not all of the procedures, discussed in this thread.  There was a period where we just had to wait for his heart and body to unwind from the trauma it had experienced before the various tests could be administered and the results reviewed by the medical team.  We ultimately made the decision to remove him from life support as the doctors determined his brain had been deprived of oxygen for too long to function.

My father was a very religious/spiritual man who was described by the pastor of his church as the closest person to God he had ever met.  I'm not particularly religious (spiritual, yes) and don't pray often but asked my dad tonight to help Damar get through this.  I look forward to getting some positive news tomorrow.

The 1994 Revenge game...Mark Brunell and Natrone Means "Business" helped knock us out of the playoffs in Kelly's last game, which unceremoniously ended with a concussion. I was there...the entire stadium sat stunned. Could have heard a pin drop.

I was there, in the corner about 10 rows up on the 10 yard line, Elvis to my right.  Brunell hits the quick out to Jimmy Smith who walks in for the win, right in front of me.  Then Kelly gets racked up, game over.  Worst feeling in the world that day.

I was there also.  My dad, sisters and I decided to get tickets at the last minute so we could see the game as it wasn't sold out and thus not televised.

Screen designs are fairly straight forward.  It's the execution, takes alot of practice to get the timing of the OL, Josh's drop (selling it), and RB in position.

My guess is they aren't spending enough time practicing these, just isn't a key aspect of Dorseys playbook.

Same with RB draws, sprint out draws.  There were several times yesterday we should have been taking advantage of the Jets wide nine (Def ends outside alignment and pass rush straight up the field).

Against Miami, I get concerned that they run a super aggressive defense and we need more screens/etc to take advantage of that.

Dorsey and company just need to watch the film from last night's Chargers/Fish game to see how to beat that defense.

Given it’s geographical shape and location, it’s been a comedic theme for a long time now. If you want actual names, dates, etc. just try googling the subject.

There is a reason I had a lot of free space in old Sullivan stadium lol. IMO People got interested in the Pats when the Krafts bought the team and actually cared about the product on the field. I do believe there has been a waiting list since 1996 for season tickets.  Sadly fans like myself can’t afford season tickets anymore so I get to maybe 1 game a year maybe 2. I was thinking traveling to Buffalo at the end of the year.. but Buffalo in January seems insane.. lol

I told my Pats*** bride last night that Jones and the current offense reminds me of the Hugh Millen days.

  8. RIP.  My family lived in the Dallas area for a year in either 1973 or 1974.  My dad and I went to a Cowboys vs Rams game and the guy sitting behind us screamed "Get to Hadl !" the entire game.  Fond memories.

As I've said before, the Dolphins have a 3 game stretch coming up where they play @SF, @LAC, and @Buffalo. Let's see what their record is after that before we crown them champs.

They could realistically lose 4-5 of their last 7 games.

Yeah wonder how much he had to fight the urge to back away from the Diggs TD. The way he blasted that pass, it seems like he's waiting for ghosts to pick off his deep over the middle throws.

I agree, they way he threw that pass stuck me as very odd.

They don't, it goes into a canned loop once the pregame talk ends. But, you can listen to Sabres games on it, they must have a different deal than the NFL.

^this.  My tech-savvy 19 year-old daughter and I tried streaming the Bills/Ravens game via the WGR app while driving home from Syracuse and got the program with updates on all the games once we left the WGR listening area.  It completely freaked her out she couldn't figure out how to get the game.

Plus Allen can’t to stay patient. No need to score a td from the 20, with 1:30 left.  Poor playcalling before ,with no commitment to sticking to successful run game they had.   Allen plus rookie Dorsey have to change, but Mcd has to get across to dorsey they have to run more.  It’s what they have missed for 3-4 years and they can’t finish or hold leads this way.  When you throw 30 plus times , it’s a set up for ints.  Results speak as Allen leads the league in ints.   This team refuses to learn from history. .  Daboll is 7-2 as a rookie head coach as he has adapted with running.  SB teams have a dependable run game, watch the remainder of the year.  And they don’t play terrible situational football repeatedly.   You are right about dorsey.   Mcd has to help him adapt.and they have to score after half time!  It’s incredible.

    Daboll has Saquon Barkley
