  1. Like some others here, I have not spent much time in the Buffalo area since I left for college in the mid-1980's.  I still love the area and would move back there in a minute if my wife wasn't a hard core New Englander.  The people of Buffalo are unlike any others I have encountered in the various places I have lived over the years and I am more proud than ever to call myself a Buffalonian.  God bless.

I feel like in Bernard they got a football player

I was a Parham stanz.......but if Bernard really is that good who are we to question?

I was living in the Boston area when the Pats*** drafted Tedy Bruschi, who was described by the draft "experts" as too small or a tweener with no apparent role in the NFL.  Belichick simply said "he is a football player" when asked why they drafted him.

I’m just praying that they can score touchdowns from inside the ten yard line. That alone would make Dorsey a vast improvement!

Also hoping the silly gadget plays in the red zone left with Daboll.

The 13 seconds was coaching.  The whole GAME was defense - and we saw bad defense at other points in the season, like the Taylor game.

We did NOT have a #1 defense last year.  Marginal top 10, maybe.

And defense wins championships.  I support the offseason focus on D completely.

^ this.  People who were realistic saw that the defense padded their statistics playing against inferior quarterbacks, similar to when the Pats*** had an "all time great defense" to start the season several years ago and then they didn't.

So Belichick creates holes by trading one guard and letting the other walk then drafts a guy he could have gotten in round 3 in the first round?

When his defense hasn't forced a punt in over two games versus the Bills and the only close game of the last 4 was a game he was aided by 70 mph winds??

How has he not been fired as GM yet? Especially with his abysmal draft record the past several years.

Kraft is hoping for a happy ending?

The fair weather fans will start jumping off the bandwagon after 1 or 2 bad seasons.  All these fools who say, "I have been a fan my whole life" are only saying that because they have been good for 20 plus years.  They will shift their focus back to baseball and basketball again soon, or simply find another front runner.

It started happening last season; many are now Bucs fans.  Can't say I will miss the female Masshole fans with their pink Pats*** hats.

He will end up in Dallas

This is a possibility, though I hope he stays in Buffalo.  My daughter attends TCU and Jerry is revered there.  I struck up a conversation with an elderly woman working in the Bursar's office who said she is a Bills fan because Jerry plays in Buffalo.  She said he is active in the community there and purchased equipment for a local high school football team several years ago.

This seems like it could be a sneaky good signing. The guy didn't see many snaps in Washington because he had dudes like Allen and Payne ahead of him. He definitely fits the Bills in terms of what they're looking for in free agents (players on the younger side with untapped potential and just need a chance to shine) as well as in terms of players overall. His scouting report said he plays with "infectious energy" and takes well to coaching. As they've been telling new acquisitions in the McBeane era, come be the best Tim Settle you can be.

Thank you for not saying "flashes".

At 3 million a year that is a yes

He is more then just a special teams ace....he feels a specific role of the larger db that can still move around guy.  I felt like he was really starting to round into form last year.

IIRC, he was instrumental in helping to shut down Kelce in the regular season game at KC.
