  1. Freddy for sure deserves to be there for the amount of heart he showed each play. Kyle also deserves to be on there for same reason. Only other player from drought that might deserve WOF honor is Brian Moorman (2x all-pro and the best player on the team for several years). Definitely not Eric Wood who couldn't stay on the field and was overrated.

  2. With all the news from the owners meeting and the new catch rule, I can't help but look back to the Super Bowl where 99% of viewers thought that Corey Clement did not catch that TD pass because he was out of bounds before he regained possession. However, if you look at the video in slow motion, you can see that his foot dragged in bounds when he regained possession before he went out of bounds. Look closely at the blades of his spike and the rubber pellets flying up as the actual spike drags along the turf.  All of those Pats fans thought they got hosed when in reality it he had two feet in AND control of the ball.

  3. Not really a lot of meaning against this one but after the bills stuffed the pats on third and short, #55 gets a penalty for slapping his own player in the helmet to celebrate. Kind of a "even when we do good against the pats, the football gods are still out to get us" moment. I think Gostowski missed the FG but that definitely was a demoralizing moment in that game. And yes I still believe the MCM is the worst moment of my young career as a bills fan (not old enough for the superbowl run)

  4. i think some teams do provide uber credit to their players. This came up when aldon smith got his DUI. Unfortunately, no UBER in WNY. They do however have it in Ar-Kansas.

+1 I use it as well when I go out, even if I only have a couple. better to be safe than sorry.

Living in Cleveland where Uber and Lyft are available. I live 15 minutes from downtown where many bars are. Last weekend I ubered too and from the bar and in total paid around $20. Parking down there is anywhere from $10-20. Super convenient and a must have for any city that wants to attract out of towners. I cannot believe Buf still doesn't have it. Do the Pegulas have some sort of service for Bills/Sabres to drive their players around since there is no uber and it takes and hour to get a cab?

  5. You offend me. So I think you should stop posting on this board all together. Then I can implement the same philosophy to anyone else that I deem to be offensive and soon I will be the only one allowed to post. If you are offended, don't buy a Redskins branded product, turn the channel or find another outlet that brings tranquility to your daily life. It is the beauty of living in this country.

I am not agreeing or disagreeing with what you say. It just seems that by saying 9/10 are okay with it justifies the use of a term that is offensive to many people (well if only 90% of this population is offended by the name then I guess I'll have to cut my losses with the other 10%). I know that nobody has to support the team if they're offended by it. However, just because saying 9/10 people are okay with it doesn't really make the behavior right or appropriate (using the racial slur redskin). I expect more from the powerful in this situation (a professional football team) than the random fan. I would expect the team to be a leader in trying to end the bias, rather than just plugging along because 10% are offended. My logic and my opinion has nothing to do with what the behavior should be of the club. But then again they are a business trying to make money...

  6. The only part of the pro bowl that was remotely entertaining was the competition between the WR and DB's. There is no way to fix it. They won't hit each other, and they won't due to injury risk do a skills competition. That would have fun like ABC in the 70's.

I'd love to see these guys do some weightlifting, obstacle course, 100 meter runs, swim, and so on. How fun watching JJ Watt go up against some of those offensive lineman in a shoulder press like the old Gastineau / LT competition.

I would definitely tune in to see some of these stud WR go against the DB's in the obstacle course. I know hurt etc., but watching Sammy go against Antonio Brown. That would be cool. Yes, I know Sammy didn't get in the Pro Bosl, but you get the point.

This is the reason why I watched back and forth from a movie. Basically, the PB was my commercial break.

Lastly, I could care less if TT threw 10 picks in the PB. Has no bearing on his play in games.

Yupp. I want to see obstacle courses, precision QB throws, fastest players, and MAYBE 7 on 7. Or it might be cool to do like an olympics, which conference wins most competitions. Anything would be better than current form. Hey I'd even be down to see these guys in a dodgeball tournament.

  7. It's always tough to say that one person loses you a game, or one play loses you a game, or that a game comes down to one play because every play affects the game. But you do look for your veterans to make a big time play when you need it, and when it's a one on one match-up, it's easy to get pissed about our guys losing that, especially vets like Graham, or Mario getting abused by a TE.

Positive one on one play from the year though: Darby's tackle on Marshall on 4th and two.

  8. With Mario Williams likely being cut, its been stated that the top priorities would be to resign richie and cordy, and then add S, LB, and DL through the draft. Whaley likes the GB style of developing your own talent and signing the key pieces. However, for more of a win now mentality, what if the Bills signed Richie, let Glenn and Mario both walk. Draft a day 1 starter LT in the draft, and then sign one of the Denver LBs or DL. Add a S in RD 2 and I think that the team would have a much easier time transitioning into a 3-4, by adding proven players in that system. However, the main argument I can muster up to that is that this draft is so deep with LBs, as well as the need for continuity on the OL. Either way, it should be fun to see how this plays out over the next few months.

  9. Did you see him out boozing or have it good authority, or is this just imagined? Just want to know.

Always see him out, always drinking, but never getting wild and seems in control. Coles every Tuesday, Encore every weekend, the occasional weeknight trips to Fredonia. I realize that pro athletes are normal people too who can go out and enjoy nightlife, but when you're that bad, wouldn't you try to be improving your game?
