  1. The Siran Neal allowed 2 pt conversion was bizarre. No idea how Le'Veon caught that ball.

Cole Beasley dropping volleyball bumping the football up for an easy pick 6 was brutal.

Corey Boroquez's second punt was really good and should have been downed inside the 5. Not sure what our punt coverage team was doing on that one.

  2. Looks like 2-3 of those hurries/sacks were on Josh/ WRs not being open down field. I think a very real solution here is to have a back/TE coming out of the back field every single passing play for a check down. Charles Clay and Kelvin Benjamin NEED to catch every pass that hits their hands. Also, why the heck is Patrick DiMarco ever lining up outside?!!!!!

I think one of Streeter/Holmes makes it but not both. If they are comfortable with Ray Ray Kerley could be odd man out.

    I think it'll end up:

    1. KB

    2. Zay

    3. Coleman

    4. Streeter

    5. Ray Ray

    6. Dupre/Reilly

This is the group that I want as well. Reilly can bring that ST presence that we would miss from Holmes and I think that Ray Ray can be effective in the slot.

I had no idea the QB position was by far the most important position on a modern NFL football team or that the Bills have substantial interest in the QB position after trading extra value to be in a position to draft a QB. Who knew!? I really need to pay more attention to this stuff. Thanks for educating me on what a REAL Bills fan is. Imagine my dismay to learn all these years I had it all wrong and YOU being the all knowing individual that you are, have known what a REAL Bills fan is all along and are now kind enough to fill us all in. Thank you for sharing this information. I strive to become a REAL Bills fan one day like you. In the meantime, I'll just hope and pray that I can find a spare week to finish reading your very lengthy explanation of why I shouldn't care. To use the words of a former NFL wide receiver....Child Please! (I'm sure some on here will know what the underlying meaning of that phrase is)

  5. What if Josh Allen is already better than Nate Peterman or AJ McCarron. Do you still think that he is better of sitting behind two QBs that he is already better than? I do not. All 3 QBs should get time with the ones and the best QB should start, regardless of experience level. If Allen sits behind two QBs who aren't as good as he is, then I can't imagine that will help his growth at all. If Josh Allen is the best than he should play.

That is exactly what I would do.

I want to see Allen play, but I don't want him starting this year until/unless we are eliminates from playoff contention.

I do not get this sentiment. Why? What if Josh Allen legitimately gives us a better chance to win games than either of the other two. Why are you wanting to sit Josh Allen just to sit him? We really won't know if he's ready until we see him with 1s against 1s. So I'd like to see if he can start game 3. Then we have a fair assessment of how each QB performs with and against 1s. Then I want the best QB to play. Regardless of how they got here or how inexperienced they are.

Going to the Cleveland game with a couple friends. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Suggestions on when on Friday we should leave Buffalo. On which lot we should park in. If tailgating, drinking, and grills are allowed. When the lots actually open for tailgating. If Bills fans use a certain lot. Fighting traffic. Anything at all that may be useful. Thanks in advance. Go Bills!!

I too am going to the game, but I live in Cleveland and will be tailgating with some Browns fans in the Muni-lot. As for traffic on 90W, I'd say it won't get bad until you hit downtown. I'd suggest getting off at Route 2 as it will sometimes navigate you down Dead Man's Curve to continue on to 90W (which will be a disaster with construction and traffic for Indians game). I would suggest leaving Buffalo by noon to get a good 3 hours of tailgating in and avoiding traffic.

Why cut Lawson? He was terrific. Curious he played with the #2's as well. John Murphy floated the idea he was being showcased like Sammy Watkins was last year. Maybe that's what Astro was alluding to?

I agree. No advantage to cutting/trading Shaq. I think the concern for Trent Murphy staying on the field is real. The guy still has talent and seems to be doing better as of late. We need depth on the DE... good depth. Unless we can trade him for some depth on the OL, I'm holding on.

I just watched the condensed game and I agree with just about everything mentioned.  In particular, I was impressed with Murphy and all three QBs.  I felt sorry for Allen that he didn't get a chance with real NFL players but he certainly made some plays.

    Foster is done.

Edit:  and is it just me, or did the shotgun snaps from the C Allen was playing with take forever to get back to him?

Agreed. How can they truly evaluate him when he is playing with these guys. Would love to see him get a shot with KB, ZJ, and CC this week.

Sorry, but this board way over exaggerates that play and this place is full of hypocrites.  So many complain about the NFL softening the game, then you guys paint a player as being something he is not over one play that had an unfortunate result where he was just trying to lay a big block in the heat of battle in the red zone.  You can see the dispair on Landry's face at the result of the play and accidentally hurting AW.  He went out and tried to throw a big block, and AW unfortunately sustained another injury out of it.

This play is NOTHING like what Gronk did, it was clearly an attempt at a big block in the heat of battle, not a premeditated dirty play.  Landry does not have a reputation for being a dirty player, in fact, if this play happened against any other team no one here would even mention it.  If AW didn't get hurt, no one here would even mention it.  This is false lore around this place.  So the only "PR Spin" anyone is falling for is the false narrative this board has made up about this play and this player.  There are countless plays substantially more dirty than this play in the NFL every year, hell Hughes is good for a couple himself.

I agree with this on Landry. Really hated him ever since that hit on A.Williams and because he catches balls that he can get two hands on with one hand to be flashy. But after watching him last night, I think he's awesome and would love a guy like that on my team. Wishing him the best of luck in Cle this year. Also felt that way about Baker. Really excited to see him play.
