  1. Hope springs eternal "Build a bully," Rex declared At last we will see
  2. When things seemed to be going well, but then they showed Billy Buffalo on the jumbotron. That dude is straight up CURSED. Wasn't he the Leader of the Charge for the Pats* game this year? Can we please try a season without him and see what happens? I'm 100% serious.
  3. The new Duff's "boneless wings" are an affront to gods and man, and an existential threat to Duff's otherwise excellent brand in Western NY. They are gray, flavorless steamed nuggets of chicken-esque product, and tossing them in what MIGHT be Duff's sauce and serving them lukewarm is just about the worst possible representation of Western New York that I can think of. In 100% seriousness, for all of the money that was spent on the food, most of the options are abominable and the prices are offensive. I understand that it's difficult to get consistency and well-trained staff at a venue that is only used ten times per year, but surely SOMETHING can be done. Other Delaware North venues (TD Garden anyone?) don't have this issue, so something else must be to blame. The pizza logs are now the best food option, but you only get three for $7. Please sir... I want some more!
  4. Welcome home, heroes Get your rest and watch the tape The 'Fins are for real
  5. I just wanted to write to thank the teams at both Lincoln Station and Delilah's -- my wife and I traveled to Chicago for the weekend (from Boston) but didn't have tickets to the game, so we ended up stopping by Delilah's on Saturday (where I got to shake hands with Pinto Kenny and sing/scream at the top of my lungs with the gathered faithful) and we were among the first to get a table at Lincoln Station, 10 AM just after the doors opened on Sunday morning. Lincoln Station was an incredible place to watch the game, absolutely electric environment. We were blown away by the hospitality not only of the staff (excellent) but also the Bears fans in attendance, everyone was so chill and welcoming from start to finish. Hats off to the organizers, you've built a great place to be on Sunday.
  6. Here is the info I've been able to gather on festivities -- actual Chicagoland residents can correct me if I'm wrong: Saturday night --- Bills party at Lincoln Station, 2432 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60614 7pm-10pm. $30 all you can eat, looks incredible. RSVP strongly encouraged via Chicago Bills Backers by sending the names of you and your other party members to billsbackersofchicago AT gmail dot com. There is also Bills-related drinking on Saturday night at the other Backers bar, Delilah's, conveniently located up the street from Lincoln Station. They are hosting a "Bills Backers Talkin Proud" party. Festivities begin at 6pm -- free wings and Genesee from 6pm-8pm. Sunday morning --- Red Pinto tailgate at a private lot south Soldier Field -- 31st St and Moe Drive, wedged between the train tracks and Lake Shore Drive. Lot opens early, don't forget the game itself is at 12pm Central for those traveling from the east! Sunday gametime --- For those without tickets to the game -- Bills fans will be gathering at Lincoln Station and Delilah's (2771 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago IL 60614). Recommend early arrival if you prefer to take your Bills games sitting down. 7. Here is a screenshot of the email -- why would anyone not pick "Season Plus" ??
  8. Looks like emails just went out -- I got my code from the Bills about three minutes ago. "Complimentary Subscription to NFL Game Rewind."
  9. What ever happened to the guy who was trying to organize a TBD tour of Soldier Field on the Friday before the game? That would be rad.
  10. Thanks for putting this together, Chicago Bills Backers! I will be in Chicago that weekend, really looking forward to it. This will be my first road game party!
  11. Please add me to the list for the tour -- I've never been to Soldier Field and I'd love to see it. I'm also looking for information on the Pinto Kenny tailgate (assuming he will be there). I will definitely be in Chicago that weekend, but I don't have game tickets and probably won't go to the game itself unless I find tickets at a reasonable price. Why can't all markets be like Buffalo, where you can get a seat at a football game for less than 150 bucks? Otherwise, I am planning on watching the game with the Chicago Bills Backers at either Lincoln Station or Delilah's.
  12. Bar none, the worst moment of the 2014 season. Worse than EJ going down in the game against Cleveland. I can’t recall a single more pivotal play coming so early in a game. It was only three minutes into the second half, and right then and there, I knew that the game was over.
