Did the free trial. Wasn't impressed. Felt I'd read one or two good articles a month and that wasn't worth the renew cost.
Maybe I'll try again. Idk.

Recording phone calls (private convos) is illegal in California, no?
Let alone posting them on social media.

It's this one and no other opener comes close:

Here is Van's call of Kelly's winning TD run with no time left:

They re-signed DT just now. Official.

The Saints and Patriots trade firsts when they make runs at it.....Tunsil fills their biggest need. On offense. And those picks will be in the 20s. Who cares when you have a legit shot now and a franchise QB still in the rookie salary window. And if you have that franchise QB and you know you're picking in the 20s....you trade for the starting LT.
And since Fuller and Coutee can't stay on the field, they get a little insurance in Stills.
I'm not sure how they're better on D without Clowney.
But if they're outscoring people than who cares.
I like the move for Tunsil. He was the best OT option and they pounced. If this was us we'd be thrilled.

Lets do this like Electoral College style! The way they predict which way the States will go---Leans blue, leans red, etc:
Solid win:
Miami 2x
Vs Jets
Vs. Bengals
Vs. Redskins
Vs. Broncos
Leans win:
@ Giants
vs Baltimore
Toss up:
vs New England
at Cleveland
at Tennessee
at Jets
Leans Loss:
vs Philly
Solid Loss:
at New England
at Pittsburgh
at Dallas
I moved the at Jets game from Leans Win to Toss Up due to potential weather.
11-5.
Fyi I'm better than all 2016 pollsters.

I have lost a good deal of respect for Beane as it stands now,per the cut to Shady and Duke William!
So much for the we are Family bullsh*t.
Umm
..
Maybe with Shady.... Duke has been here 8 months and wasn't guaranteed a thing. Neither was Shady for that matter.

This is surprising not so much from a football standpoint but from a PR standpoint. I'm not sure how players/agents will be able to trust Beane going forward. He was pretty emphatic in his guarantees that Shady would be here.
I guess Shady and Gore really were in a competition for the job.
Meh. Publicly. We don't know what was said privately.
But the public statements gave everyone including the fans the impression he was still a viable RB and that helps his value on the open market now.
Not sure this makes the FO looks bad at all. But I do question why we need Yeldon.

Clowney to Seattle imminent. Per the internet.
He was never getting traded in conference.

The question I'd like answered is is what are they going to do with that $6 million cap savings?
Are they just going to sit on it or is there another shoe to drop...
This is what I don't understand. How was this about money if there is no issue with our cap space.

So Yeldon, he who pouted with Fournette in week 17 on the bench.....he makes it?
Please tell me why money had to be a factor here.
-
He was getting cut and we turn him into a 5th and 6th rounder in 2020. Not bad at all.

Let's pump the brakes on collision sports (you think the lawyers are stopping at Football) being in peril.
At the very least, the things the "experts" are telling them to do that are ruinin.....I mean making the game safer will need 20 years to see if they made a difference.

He's been the preseason MVP for the Bills.

Alshon Jeffrey for Clowney would also make a TON of sense.
This is also far more likely.

That being said if it costs us Zay or McCoy I'd gladly just take one year of motivated Clowney.
-
Just no way they trade him to a team they think will be competing for a wild card spot.
Of course they probably think they're winning the division now for sure.

Chargers (not without James Bosa and Gordan)
Chiefs (Interesting to see if they fall back on O)
Steelers (If Ben gets hurt...toast)
Patriots (If old man Tom gets hurt they stink)
Colts (If Luck is out no way)
Saints at the dome only
Rams (Not the same team without elite Gurley)
Vikings (If Cousins plays well)
These teams I feel I can say with near 100 percent confidence are better than us. That's it.
But notice their caveats. I think those are the elite but they are a bad break from being bad teams. I like our chances if we had to turn to Barkley. No not that we'll win the SB but I still think we can be competitive.
I'm not saying we're as good as them or better than 2/3 of the league. I just think if we stay healthy we have just as good a shot as any team to win the WHOLE THING.
Obviously....I'm expecting several guys on this team to make huge leaps this season in order for me to be in this place of optimism.
Let's freaking go!!!!!!!!!!
1 down.

LOL. The old "other people make mistakes too so Allen's mistakes are OK" attempt at validating poor play.
This is a logical fallacy and should not be repeated by anyone.
You know who never makes that throw? Tom Brady. He is almost robotic in how he will throw the ball away to kill a play that obviously blew up or was never going to work in the first place. He understands to just kill it before it becomes anything worse, and then you try again on the next play.
Surprising a kid as seemingly bright as Allen doesn't understand that yet.
Sir. I'm not trying to validate poor play.
I was just trying to give some perspective to poor evaluators.

that's the throw a wide eyed rookie makes...but not a 2nd year qb...
Sure. Do we even watch other games?
Has dealing with Brady for 18 years made us believe all QBs are flawless always?

I'm really getting sick of the "these are meaningless games" takes. Idk...its just an annoying collective mindset you see across the interwebs by people that cover the games and treating them like your about to walk thru no man's land.
Put everyone in bubble wrap!!! Hide yo kids!!!! They're about to play a preseason game!!!
Don't misunderstand. I don't want the starters playing against backups or playing 3 quarters in the 1st preseason game---I like how they do it currently building them up and getting that dress rehearsal in game 3.
But these games are not meaningless. How is it any more meaningless than say tearing your knee up doing drills over the summer that are designed to get you ready for these games? Were those cone drills meaningless?
Or just getting hurt at practice? So is a practice important but the actual game situation against another team meaningless? Let's just skip preseason practice and just go right to games then.

This if true, could also be interpreted to mean they don't think Rosen is a long term solution. IMO.
If you thought you had the goods at QB you aren't trading the weapons he's been working with all spring and summer or the guys that protect him. Especially the pro bowl ones.
