They haven't said yet (or last I checked), but he broke is ankle, unless we make the playoffs I think he should be shelved and let the youngsters get some time in.

The big key is much like the Bills during the teardown, we are actually trying to win (we also lucked out with Kappo being there for us)

Good luck.  The Ranger have always been my 2nd favorite team.

The strangest thing is that Dolan has been very hands off with his Hockey Team and is letting the President/GM run the business, unlike the Knicks. He also has the right people in the right positions making the decisions.

We have also been both buyers and sellers to reduce our Cap hit and find the players to balance the team out. I mean, I get it Panarin helps a ton :)

NYR have more points than the Sabres this year, what is it 74 to 68?

Sounds about right.  Is Kreider out for the year, did they say?

Even one of the guys who was claiming "FOUL!" when Sully left TBN (Fredonia Journalism Prof Elmer Ploetz) had to walk it back shortly thereafter:

In the previous column about the News, I brought up the possibility of outside pressure having an effect on the sports decisions.

Sources from inside the paper have told me that isn’t the case; the News had the printing contract for Sabres programs and lost it (and the hundreds of thousands of dollars of income it brought each year) in the past few years. That isn’t expected to be coming back.

One source tells me the printing contract was lost in 2013-2014

Sully was told he was losing his column (and took a package) in Spring 2018

    You do da math

But I think it might be time to put this apparently-wrong info to bed

Elmer Ploetz - he wrote the music columns for the Bona Venture - the weekly newspaper, when I was a freshman.  You don't forget a name like that - it's almost like it was made for a music critic, like Lester Bangs.

I am sooooo glad I am a NY Rangers fan - our rebuild has been going on shorter and is more successful; with the worst owner in all of sports....

What a f - ing disaster the Sabres are; it's like RWs trash moved there

What?  @JohnC said "You cite the Rangers as a model franchise. They have been mediocre for a generation"

And, then when i ran down the last decade, he ignored me.

  5. It turns out a couple of my friends know him well.  Stayed at his house, etc.  And, say what a great guy he is.  I asked what Brady, etc. were doing there and got a barrage of info on our group text.

Mysterious is right.  I don't get why all these celebs would travel to random games.  Bermuda saying that they get paid is the only thing that made sense.

Yep.  He goes MIA for long stretches.

Nauseating that someone paid Brady and Edelman to attend a game at the Dome.  Keep those two aholes away from the Dome.

They got paid to go to the game??

Are these hockey generations, as in there being one or two generational players in the draft every year.

Because this past decade, they only missed the playoffs three times.  They've won a bunch of series.  They were in the Conference Finals three times.  They were in the Cup Finals once.  And, they won the President's Trophy at least once.

@PastaJoe  I think that you giving a thumbs up when somebody has the correct answer, instead of posting that it's correct or whatever is causing the confusion of whether one person has been guessed yet or not.

I think Dayton is pretty much locked in as a #2 seed.  They are not jumping Kansas or Baylor & I think they would have a tough time jumping the Zags at this point even with their loss Saturday.  San Diego ST, not sure about them, one more bad loss should get them off the one line.  But I think Duke would get it.  Kinda interesting if I'm the Aztecs, I would rather have a 2 seed out west, play an hour from your campus in the regionals & have to go thru Gonzaga in what should be a defacto home game than be a 1 see in the east, & have to run thru Duke or a team like Villanova in what would be a serious home court disadvantage for them.  East Regional is in MSG this year.

Bonnies really had a few games early in the season that they had no business losing, Siena, Canisius come immediately to mind.  Plus they have some decent wins but no signature wins to date.

    I'm afraid not.

As I posted months ago, those types of losses are impossible to overcome for an at large.

Best hope is for us to meet dayton in the finals and hope for a (huge) upset.

    .

I think things have changed with the criteria, but "last ten games" used to be a thing, and I thought they used to take into account if you had players hurt for those types of losses.

If Osun had played every game, our record would look even better.
