The end of football as we know it today is coming and there are lot of people who want to cover their eyes when presented with that. It might not be in the next 10 years, but before a lot of us are dead and buried we will not recognize the game we know today.
But hey, lets enjoy it while we can. Go Bills.

1. No injuries
2. I'm not sure how long the first team will play, probably just one series, but I'd like to see good movement and not a 3 and out.
3. Very much looking forward to seeing how Nathan Peterman looks. Comfortable? Making the throws? Pretty excited about his potential.
4. Shaq Lawson making some solid plays.
5. I want to see Ragland get some playing time and really show out. He's capable....just needs to get it together.
6. Zay TD.

Pretty gloomy outlook, but I do enjoy reading others views on things.
That being said, we are at a minimum 8 win ball club this year. Its going to come down to a couple of close games that will decide if we are 10 and in, or 8 and out.

Does anyone else get the feeling that McCoy is going to be one of those very rare running backs that just keeps going and doesn't hit that wall everyone talks about at 30. I think Shady has a good 3-4 more really productive prime years in him. What does everyone else think?
Yes, absolutely.

Doubtful, Gase likes short accurate passes and YAC. Kaepernicks less accurate than tyrod.
That makes me feel better at least.
-
I'd like to have Boldin in Buffalo if for nothing else his experience and leadership. Anything past that is a bonus.
-
Could this be where Kapernick ends up? First time in my life I'm pulling for a Dolphin....hope Tannehil is ok.
-
1. Peterman taking over if Tyrod gets hurt and not performing well at all leaving us with Yates as our starter.
2. Ragland not becoming a force in the middle.
3. Shaq disappearing
4. Our secondary killing the defense.

Looks like the city of baltimore should be.
The city of Baltimore PD is not what this topic is about.

I love free speech. I love this country. Just be aware that actions have consequences. If he's going to hate a certain group and call them pigs then don't expect those people to want you on their team or buy tickets. It's a valid response to his actions. A more productive thing to do than name call might be to come together in peace and harmony and work together to solve your differences.
Personally I think more training and more public awareness for how to deal with law enforcement would be a big help. Kaepernick should offer to be in a psa video about this is what to do if you are pulled over or this is what to do if confronted by police.
End of thread.

As far as I'm concerned, it's as simple as this: (1) he's not very good in spite of cherry-picked stats, and (2) the SJWs who comprise the sports reporting world will ensure there are cameras and mics in the face of all his teammates and coaches, every week, for every game, asking them how they feel about a topic that has NOTHING to do with the sport for which they are paid to play.
No team wants that distraction. Not one. And let's be fair, most football fans don't want that crap on their team either.
And no matter how hard ESPN and NFL.com act perplexed about his unemployment, thinking people know their motives are self-serving. They need Kap on a team so they have a schittstorm to write about and a SJW cause to hold up.
This sums it up quite nicely.

You can just sign up at DirectTV for the Sunday streaming package now. I used to have to verify I couldn't get DTV where I live but not anymore. Just sign up and you can watch on your computer, phone, or set top bog (Roku, Apple TV). I'm already signed up.
No need for this runaround any more.
I was unable to replicate this. It checks your eligibility and then tells me nope.
-
Its what the media does. They are trying to make it into a racial / religious "injustice" to get ratings. Negative news sells.
-
holy smokes, you get $720 off and you say that sucks??? am I missing something?
...well DirecTV is pretty overpriced as it stands. Getting 30 dollars a month off an already outrageous fee isn't that great.

But fewer parents will let their kids play football
This. I think you'll see parents steer kids more towards soccer, baseball and basketball. While those are not without their own risks, they are no where near what the risks of playing football are. I don't think it'll be anytime soon, but some of us might see the NFL completely different to todays version in our lifetime. Just my thoughts anyway.

The beginning of the end of football as we know it...

If I remember right, he was somewhat critical of the GM firing in Carolina. Interesting.
-
I hope for at least 11-5 for the Bills.
I would love to see that as well. I think we will in the next year or two.
-
1: Buffalo will finish with a 7-9 record with a couple of very narrow loses.
2: The defense will be very stout against the run but will struggle a bit against the pass ending up with a over rank of around 12
3: Tyrod Taylor will be solid for the first part of the season before getting an injury around week 5 or 6. Jones will take over but will be ineffective much like EJ. Peterman will take the reigns and be very, very solid, but will turn the job back to Tyrod before the year is out ( around week 13 ). Tyrod will finish strong setting up a huge debate in the offseason of who to go with... Peterman or Taylor. Jones will be cut.
4. The team will be extremely disciplined and one of the least penalized teams in the league.
5. Shady will win the rushing title this year
6. Sammy will be really turn it up when Peterman takes over ( after starting very slowly ) but will continue being solid, but not as spectacular once Taylor takes back over. This will set up another massive decision in the offseason.
7. Reggie Ragland will become a defensive monster and Shaq Lawson wont be far behind him. Both will become huge for the Bills.
Other
DeShaun Watson carries Houston to the brink of the Super Bowl.
Hows that?

Hoping to get to the Carolina and Atlanta games. I live in SC so its my best chance to see the team.

Fewer players on a team in the NBA than the NFL. Higher salaries? Maybe....but not to the degree the NBA is getting.
-
I think Williams will handle this role more-so than Tolbert.
-
Lorenzo Alexander - that would be a surprise.
-
Byrd and Boldin for me. 2 vets who can help the young guys.

It will all be worth it in a year or two.
